Dolphins interested in moving up in the draft for Tannehill?

What the article totally assumes is that the Browns would be moving up from their 4th overall pick. To me i think that makes no sense.

If you are going to take the statement "the dolphins and browns have expressed interest in moving up"... im thinking two situtations and neither involve the top 5.

Jacksonville has openly stated they want to move down from pick 7, one pick ahead of the Dolphins.. so any team that wants Tannehill for sure will have to move to 7. To prevent this, the fins would move up one slot with jax.

Part two is that Cleveland owns the 22nd pick... and after taking whoever they want at 4.. if they want Tannehill where he is being projected.... anywhere from 7 on through the middle of the 1st round... they would have to trade up from 22.

Seems to make more sense then jumping to conclusions about trading up into the top 5...

Don't buy it. Not even for a second. This info is coming from Dan Pompei....nuff said

Why move up? just draft Floyd in the first and Weeden in the second.

clevelands not trading up from #4 thats garbage...they'll get their guy t rich there no problem...if miami was trading up they'd be stupid to go any higher than #7...they don't need to go any higher than that if tannehills the guy...to trade up for anyone else though assanine

I dont think Miami wants to move up. So this is a smokescreen but acting that way. The battle is between Cleveland and Tampa Bay and maybe the rams for believe it or not Trent Richardson, the best player in this draft.

you are correct. But wht happens on the cleveland pick if richardson is gone. hhmmm would they go ahead and take tanehill. This is a very tense situation. the trade up target for tannehill is #7. This is going to be fun.

I think if Richardson is gone, they will draft Blackmon at #4 and Weeden at #22.

Definetley not falling for this article....the browns wouldnt need to move up 1 spot

richardson won't be gone at #4...i don't buy any of that...minny will either go kalil blackmon or claiborne all indications are they stay put its kalil...if they trade out it will be for a team coming up for tannehill not t rich...i know tampa and st louis also love t rich but they can stay put and get claiborne and blackmon...if anybody moved up to #3 to get t rich it would be tampa but the price is too much for anything other than a qb...

you guys are overthinking this...

If we were going to spend what it would take to get to #3, we would've paid that plus a bit more and gone to #2 for RG3. Stay at 8 and you'll get a player you want- either Tanny (if they even want him that high), or a starting from Day 1 pass rusher or #1 WR.

I could live with Tannehill @8 if Sherman wanted him, but trading up when there's likely a better, more pro ready QB available later on in Weeden is folly IMO. I agree with whomever said take Floyd and then trade back up to snatch Weeden.
