You should quit now, they are worried with the CBA that no one will know the offense like Henne, so that tells you they are most concerned with 2011. Otherwise they would be thinking long term and not be worried about that.

I've been saying this for months now. IMO this is the kind of move they will make to save their jobs.

They could double down on Henne!
and put more tools around him but if Henne fails still
they will take a harder hit for supporting a puppet quarterback..
as the excuses will wear thin ..Even within the hardcore loyalist supporters
of the henne sparano regime will begin to demand more results..
Especially if next year one of the quarterbacks we passed on becomes a star!!

If the Dolphins signed Hasselbeck I would be pleased. But I would consider going after him, not as the first choice. I would personally go with Palmer>Kolb>Hasselbeck. That being said... He's much better than Henne. Pair him with Santana Moss and Brandon Marshall and you have an interesting trio.

as far as I see it anything is better than Henne at this point. Why is this even an issue?

The FO will have to sign a QB. They like their jobs ... and they are VERY familiar with Henne.

If Sparano HAS TO start Henne ... Sparano's best outcome would be for Henne to get knocked out for the year ... then that excuse may buy him another year & more time to get a QB.
