Well god damnit if that was true, you don't trade Marshall without guaranteeing Manning is going to be in Miami. If they traded Marshall in the hopes that Manning will say "Hey that's cool, I might join them now", then yes, this front office is run by a bunch of Forrest Gump wannabe tools.

Thats what I thought all along. The fact he coached him made sense that he knew Flynn was a bunch of hype who will blow in Sea or Cleveland...... you know.... teams that settle for **** QBs all the time.

What does that say about what Philbin knows about Flynn? Might hurt his value other places.
 
Guys the article has a terrible title and at no point does it say the Phins aren't interested in Flynn.

No but what evidence do we have that a guy who was a 6th round pick and a career backup so far is going to be any better than Moore who at least produced and brought in 6-3?

Moore is still under contract this year and his deal seems a lot more of a bargain than giving 60 million to Flynn.
 
I dunno....

I can see this going in a whole other direction. Maybe we intend to build through the draft....just as it was stated that Philbin wants to do....maybe he wants to make sure a rookie QB isnt influenced by the type of personality of Marshall.

i agree with you about flynn, but come on, its deff not good we traded marshall.

whether you like him or not, he is a top 5 wr in the nfl, and he has had no stability at the position during his short tenure in miami. also, he is in his ****ing prime right now, and we trade him for 2 3rd rounders. what a dumb deal.

the point was to get marshall a top qb and see him reach his potential, and it looked like our offense was making strides at the end of the year. now our top wrs are bess and hartline.

i agree with you on many things, but cant agree that its good to trade marshall.
