yes. and betting $10 will lose you $10. buying a lottery ticket could win you $500mm too

What seems seedy about it? At least with the regulated online sites programs get funded and people can't lose money they don't actually have and get beat up or worse by scumbag bookies.

Yes and no. If the odds are truly 2500 to 1, then yes a 10 bet wins 25,000. I am betting he mis typed the odds as there are probably +2500 which means pays $2500 on a $100 or the same as 25 to 1. So it really depends of the betting format.

Edit. I just realized this is an old thread someone bumped for so reason.

It destroys people’s lives! It legitimizes an affliction. It’s a psyop to get people to lose their hard earned $… it’s very dangerous and very destructive… it’s created and driven by psychopaths and given an air of legitimacy but it’s very unhealthy for most… gambling addiction ruin families that’s why it is so promoted…

me too, I see it as a money grab it'll blow up like a bubble but they'll only punish one person as a scapegoat. Everybody wants theirs now

Those aren't very good odds. Top Bet has Miami in the bottom third of the league and +6600 to win the Super Bowl (66-1)

Nope. There is zero chance in hell that the Fins with this rag team of garbage can win a SB. There are holes everywhere, combined with pitiful coaching. I will take my chance on any number on the roulette wheel.
