Dolphins Offseason Thread (Mandatory Mini-Camp 6/10 - 6/12)

Joe Flacco, Jay Schroeder, Brad Johnson, Jim McMahon, Joe Theismann, Jeff Hostetler, Nick Foles, Mark Rypien, Eli Manning, Trent Dilfer, Jim Plunkett at 36 years of age, Jalen Hurts… none of this includes your SB QB losers that get you to the dance….Matt Hasselback Rex Grossman Jake Delholme, Garrapolo, Purdy, Rich Gannon, Kerry Collins, Chris Chandler, Neil O’Donnell… just Sayin

Good point, but Joe Flacco and Eli Manning were the best post season QBs once they got there.

McMahon and Dilfer were part of the greatest Defenses to play the game.

Johnson, Foles had career years.

Plunkett and Theismann were top QBs that did not start showing their #1 talent until they got in the right situation.

Special situation allow teams that don't have a true #1 to win the big game.

Jeff Hotstteler, NY Giants. Nick Foles, Eagles.. Tom Brady, Pats. There are others who were co starters, or had started games, Like Earl Morrall, Colts (beat the Cowboys) then started the Super Bowl… a total of like 9 total I believe

I guess if you're on a team with a great defense, you could win the big game, but more times then not, you need a true starting QB if you want to win the SB.
