Dolphins plan to release Richie Incognito after NFL review

It might be standard on other teams. Maybe so. Can you imagine classy acts like Manning doing it, or Brandy. Or Dan Marino.
Anyway, our team was in turmoil before this. The Oline is terrible and it is killing our season. The amount of sacks is crazy each game.
So it is not like everything was fine. This is very likely part of the problem. Didn't seem to take McKinnie a whole season to "gel". Get some guys that want to work.
I bet Martin wanted to work at one time.

The team analyzed the line and thought we were good! Lets get some new analyzers too.

Dan, yes! Not to Cog's level, but yes, I'd be shocked if he didn't do his share of hazing in his day.

There's a difference in having rookies carry your pads back inside or having them sing in front of everyone. That is just good natured stuff. It's a whole other thing when Martin is asked to pay $15,000 for a trip and then has to take racial slurs and threats etc on texts and voicemail.

Incognito should never play in the NFL again

What happens when you have a fear of public speaking???? This can damage you worse than calling you any name?

Irony = Only in the NFL where men are paid to battle other men in fierce physical, athletic combat, will a man lose his job for engaging another man in fierce psychological, mental combat.

My truism of the day.

Face it, the Dolphins were going to release him after this season anyway, because they have been jettisoning large veteran salaries and don't want to pay OL. This was as obvious as the Dansby release this year. It was going to happen regardless of the whole Jonathan Martin thing. The only thing that has changed is that we will now ALSO be releasing Jonathan Martin. And, Incognito isn't going to play for the Dolphins the rest of this season. It may be convenient for the Dolphins to let him go given the situation, but the reality is that he was going to be released anyway regardless of any of the Martin stuff.

So, if Martin had any sense, he would have waited for it to happen in the offseason. Instead, he nuked his locker room, nuked his coaching staff, nuked the GM who believed in him, and nuked his own NFL career. He's a bright guy ... it's a shame he couldn't think that one through to its obvious and logical conclusion. Oh well, nothing good comes out of this situation.

How is Martin responsible for this? He asked for all of this to happen?
