Dolphins pursuing Carson Palmer?

There are no guarantee's we will get Andrew Luck and do you really want to sit threw another 1-15 or gulp, 0-16 season?? I wouldn't mind Carson Palmer, he would be a huge upgrade over check down Chad.

Play not to lose Henne, don't go for the TD, settle for the FG, at the very least it will be a close game er loss. DUH!

I would support the move, he is a proven pro bowler that was on a horrible team. With Luck you don't know what you are going to get. Not saying he is going to solve our problems b/c I don't think Henne has played bad but it would bring stability to the offense.

We don't need stability, we need a god damn stud. And some stability, which I don't think Palmer gives us at this stage anyways, is only going to **** up our draft position by getting us a 6-10 record instead of the inevitable 4-12 or worse we're looking at. No thanks. We've been miring in mediocrity too god damn long.

Highly doubt that.. Ross wouldn't even let Ireland spend money in FA. Don't think he'd let him spend big money AND trade next year's picks away.

Ross is a buffoon. There's no telling what he might or might not do.

3 games too late for that. The season is lost at this point and everyone knows it. What would be the point in bringing in Palmer now?

This is bleacher report though.

More importantly, why would Palmer want to come into this pathological situation. This current regime is even more dysfunctional than the Bengals

26td 20 int almost 4000 yds in 2010 and that was a sub par year for Palmer...just saying..he would be the perfect bridge to our future qb.the draft is still a mystery folks and although we are 0-3 there are worse teams that need qbs and there is only 1 luck,Barkley and l jones..and it isn't guaranteed were finishing with a top 3-4 pick.. why not get a proven vet.the season is very long.we were 0-3 a few yrs ago and still went 7-9.so I am not opposed at all as long as the price isn't too steep.

If we win only one game, I can guarantee we would have the no.1 pick. Palmer will not solve all the institutional dysfunction on this team.

Just say no to Palmer. The Dolphins need to tank this season and get Luck. I am tired of seeing this team try for the quick fix that never works out.

I don't think Palmer would play all that much better than Henne at this point.

I still think he is a "good" starter in this league...let him sit while we still lose.we draft "hopefully" a 1st round qb.part ways with henne and there u go.a proven starter who can win and a young stud waiting in the wings.that is a pretty good qb situation I believe.with a fresh coach, gruden (my choice) cowher etc.we can easily be in the playoffs next year with a few roster tweeks

Henne's improving but still lacks that killer instinct that Palmer had not long ago. If they can get him cheap he would make a good teacher for the new QB and if Henne continues to improve he could be trade bait next year. Just what you said I see.

A. QB is not our biggest problem.

B. OL is.

C. Carson does not play CB.

D. Carson does not play DL, LB, TE, or S.

E. Carson is expensive, and does not know this offense. See Kerry Collins.

F. This would be a move ONLY to try to sell tickets. It would not be done with the overall good of the team in mind.

G. Carson Palmer is less mobile than Henne, and Henne, at times, has helped to mask exactly how inept our OL is. He is at the top of Columbo's Christmas Card list.

H. Ricky is enjoying this show from Baltimore.

Oh, thank god neither source is reliable. I would lose my ****. These mother****ers just need to ride out into the sunset like big boys instead of ****ing everything up for the next regime.
