Dolphins, Ravens to play at 1:00PM and Chargers to play at 4:25PM

On SNF they just announced that the Dolphins/Jets and Ravens/Bengals game are staying at 1:00PM ET. That is bad, because now the Dolphins and Ravens results could make the Chargers game meaningless for them.
 
The Chargers are at home, they were always going to play at 4. NE-Buffalo moved to 4:25, meaning Cincy has to ball out for the 2 seed now.
 
Thanks for the info. Beat the Jests, finish 9-7, and hope for the best...
 
With KC hopefully resting, i hope chargers would still play hard to finish season right
 
You're not looking at the positive side. The bengals can now play to win cause they don't know the patriots result at all due to a later kickoff.
 
wait, so if we win and balt wins, we would need san diego to win, but would san diego be eliminated already?

san diego is going to play hard anyways, but i think kc will also even though they got nothing to play for.

i dont think andy reid wants his team going into playoffs losing 2 games in a row, and the last 3 superbowl winners have won going in with momentum and no rest.
 
Also the chiefs are already in a meaningless situation but the chargers I'm assuming will play their starters throughout. The chiefs I would assume will not.
 
The Chiefs would be really dumb to have Jamaal Charles get 30 touches in a meaningless game. I don't think there is any question that the Chiefs will rest some starters...they won't play the whole game. On the other hand, I can't imagine Rivers sitting during the game. The Chargers don't have a young backup that needs game experience.
 
CBS and the NFL Blew this one hard. It definitely is not a fair scnerio and they really could of made 4pm special.There isnt a snowballs chance in hell NE or Denver lose to those pathetic teams, so I hope people turn the dial after each has a 3td lead at halftime.

I can't believe they didn't make the playing field even and move all 3 games to 4
 
Regardless, we need the Bengals to beat the Ravens. And we need to beat the Jets. That is the safest route. Let's hope we're not waiting on the Chargers at 7pm on Sunday night.
 
all in all, not a bad situation for Miami. Cincy will play hard for the potential 2 seed and u still get SD at home in a division game. Rivers won't lay down.

this is the best situation for the fins imo.

if the pats game stayed at 1 as well, then if the pats pulled ahead early, the bengals may pull there starters knowing the 2nd seed is not possible anymore.

now the bengals will play there starters the entire game hoping for the slim chance of the 2 seed.

also, the bottom line is we need to win. ppl think the jets r going to be pushovers, but after todays showing vs buff, this team can not take ANY TEAM for granted. we have not earned that right, and the jets players love rex ryan, doubt they go out and lay an egg in what can possibly be his final jets game coaching.
 
If you're the Chargers, you want to finish 9-7 instead of 8-8, right? Even if you know you can't make the playoffs. Or maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part.
