Dolphins release Kendall Fuller and Durham Smythe

Don't really agree with cutting Fuller, but hey, gotta save money.

Fuller
2025 Dead Cap: $5,412,000
2025 Cap Savings: $2,941,000

Smythe
2025 Dead Cap: $2,656,666
2025 Savings: $2,175,000
Does it grind anyone else's gears how much dead money Grier keeps getting us into??? It's one of those most annoying things that make you so mad. Just another reason I can't stand Griers ass.

I'm glad Smyth is gone though

I'm not upset at anybody they cut......the real question is, will we replace them with actual better players?
Most likely not. And the Dead money thing makes me so mad. I mean, we just created another unnecessary hole. I mean, he wasn't the best but we didn't need to cut Fuller. Now what once was a minor need is a huge need. On top of everything else.

Grier literally does nothing right

Yeah, it's not great. It tends to happen when you don't hit on draft picks and retain them. Also happens when you massively overpay players who don't pan out. We are currently 8th in dead cap. Grier can suck eggs.

Saints still doing the Lord's work. Lol.

I wish I could work for Ross. Completely screw things up and then be forgiven and tasked as the one to fix it. Rinse and repeat. Actually, now that I said that, I don’t think Ross is cognizant enough to know the difference.
How do we apply for the Miami Dolphins? Let's do it!!

Unless there are more to the injury concerns that we don't know about, releasing Fuller to save $2.8M doesn't seem like the right call to me. Releasing Smythe is all well and good until it leads to Julian Hill getting more snaps.
Hill needs to get cut as well
