I know, I have the same reaction when I see people attempt to defend anyone in a Dolphin uniform.

Why don't you take a poll to see if Pouncey is Finheaven's little angel? I'll bet you will be shocked by the results.

Sure, I think people realize he's not the brightest tool in the shed, but anything short of murder will be defended here until the end. Even in the event of murder the fanbase may go all Ray Lewis on him. Of course, if he was a Jet, our fanbase would already be screaming murder on his ass.

I will say this.... I will take an UDFA who has played C all his life over some guy making much more who has never snapped a ball.

This IS a mistake. We have enough new moving pieces. This is the most inopportune time to be solidifying your newly formed OL with a C who has never played C.

And moving DT to RG is also a mistake. Colledge needs to be at RG helping the rookie RT. Albert needs to be beside the almost-rookie LG. You do NOT allow one injury to impact 5 positions.

Just like I said, if he's not charged he's Finheaven's little angel. Defend him all you want, it really doesn't change my opinion on him being a thug who won't be able to stay on the field when he's getting eventual suspensions.

I'm going to have to disagree. How long has pouncey been with the fins? How many suspensions has he had? He's done some stupid/naive things, but nothing big enough to warrant a suspension. And I don't think he's a ticking time bomb either. He hasn't shown any signs of it anyway. Unless the night club incident comes up that he was involved in the beating.

Nope, not me , if the truth comes out and it shows Pouncey beat up that guy or the other bystander, then I am through sticking up for Pouncey. I have no issues giving players more chances, just like in my personal life with acquaintances but at some point you draw a line in the sand. Has nothing to do what team he currently plays for. Like I have said before the drug reference in the bully scandal is my issue but there were many other current and former fins linked to drug references in those texts, and not just related to the night at Pouncey's. Should we put those guys on the stupid thug list too? I mean Dan Marino was linked to being a coke head shall we banish him from Finheaven also?

Every year there's at least one glaring problem that we see on the O-Line in pre-season and they just try to plug guys in from other positions. Why not just sign a veteran Center if available? I would think the first 6 games will be the catalyst for the last half of the season.

Marino is a ****ing scumbag who was probably a drug addict and had bastards left and right. I love the man as a player, but I'm not going to defend his off the field ****. If Pouncey becomes a HOF player, maybe I'll let some accusations slide if he's not getting charged left and right. But, the stupid overrated Center we have right now? No, I don't think it's worth the risk to give him a sizable contract.

And that's great that you wouldn't defend Pouncey until he gets caught on camera helping Darren Sharper carry a girl to his room, but you are one of the very few on this board. I hope you keep the same opinion when he does get caught with something.

I would expect Garner, Larson or Brenner to start the season at center. In that order.
Shelly Smith is not good enough to play at guard, so they are trying him at center.
