Dolphins resign McKinney

His play improved substantially last year. Give the guy his due.

Considering the current OC market, this is a good signing.
 
cmon saban. this guy is trash. ugh.

we will have a HUGE upgrade at C next offseason. we will be in a position too.
 
Quick name someone in FA that will go for that price? Exactly. For that price and lack of depth in FA I don't see this as a bad move. It's a one year deal (basicly). The guys been on the squad for a while, why hate on him for Saban re-signing him? The man knows what's best for the team. In Saban we Trust!
 
It's not big money........read how the guy broke it down on the first page. Half of the $5 million is a roster bonus next year which he will NEVER see. So it's $900,000 (approx) bonus plus probably a $600,000 salary this year. we're talking a cap hit of appox $1,050,000 for this year....with a cap hit of $450,000 next year if/when we cut him before his bonus is do.

Agreed.... I just don't understand why you would want a center that
gets pushed back into his QB consistently.
What is worse is to pay him an exuberant amount of money.
No one else was willing to pay that much......
Come on Nick, we can do better than Seth.:tantrum:
 
Nobody better was available and he did play better under Houck. He obviously thinks he can do the job and I respect his opinion.

And this is not big money, for those of you saying it is- look how the contract is structured.
