Dolphins Salary Cap for 2015 & Possible Moves, Including Wallace

That production is down due to the offense Miami play in.

Miami spreads the ball around, and doesn't force it to one guy.

and the fact that RT has the worst deep ball in the league statistically and the media knows it so much it's talked about every game.

Just keep most of the team we need to resign Clay with some of it. Save money for my QB too. I would only make minor signings and keep key players. If hickey drafts as well as he did last year we are gonna be good

I hope you're right, and he comes up special the next 6 games. I would LOVE to be wrong here.

He won't due to how Miami plays offense. Not focusing on one guy is a good thing. Wallace will still get 10+ TDs which is a great year. He may even get 1000 yards.

Hopefully the better Hickey drafts the Ireland, less need for FA pickups. Which means less worry about the cap.

Did you calculate this as pre or post Jun 1 cuts?

Well, you are wrong. I defended Wallace all of last year and well as this year, until now. True story.

Maybe until this week but you have brought getting rid of him up a number of times that's all I'm saying...image.jpg

I just don't get the logic in getting rid of the best boundary wr on the team when even when not catching long balls can disrupt a defense and we can save money with less dead cap getting rid of hartline or Gibson

Also, the money being paid doesn't bother me, why should it bother you? Miami is still in a good cap situation and even less contributing players will be cut. i.e Hartline, Ellerbe, Wheeler, Gibson.

IF he is not featured as a #1, why not go cheaper or, find someone who can be better in the red zone

The money bothers me based on production, and not doing what he was paid to do, for whatever reason it's not working. The money could be better used.

As for WR, Wallace is staying. Dump Hartline and Gibson. Play Mathews more he is gonna be good. Wallace, Mathews, Landry, Hazel. And draft a big WR

People worry about whose #1 or #2 too much. In a offense that doesn't matter. Trust me.

Wallace has improved drastically as a complete WR, with a few more big plays he's among tops in the NFL in yards and TDs. Most of the deep ball problems are on the qb, can't blame the WR for doing his job, yes Wallce needs to fight more, but as a qb he needs to put the ball to his guy. Only way i'd get rid of Wallace is if Jones, Green or Thomas become free somehow.

I just watched Michael Floyd catch 2 jumpball TDs. Get my QB a guy like him

NJP, as posted that was my opinion before, and now, I have changed it after 9 games. It can change again but, need to see more out of our $12M man. I believe I've been fair.

I'm talking about #1 type production and Wallace has not been close. so far. It may well be RT or Lazor. Don't matter, if it don't work, gotta fix it.

Fair enough I just think a zero catch Wallace is waaaaay more valuable then a zero catch hartline or Gibson, we could ditch those 2 and save about the same right? Take that money and invest in a big body red zone threat, say for ****s and giggles VJ... Still have Wallace, Landry on rookie deal and Matthews on light deal, and pick up a cheap 5th wr for depth...
