ames Walker ‏@JamesWalkerNFL 8s
#Dolphins DE Dion Jordan just ran down RB Mike Gillislee from behind. Jordan is an athlete.

I know its only Gill..... But im convinced Jordan is gunna be a stud one of these days. Always been very much against any talk of a trade

Jimmy Wilson gets the first pick of the day off QB Ryan Tannehill. The ball was dropped, not the QBs fault. #DolphinsOTAs

vs

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly 2m
Jimmy Wilson just picked off a Ryan Tannehill pass in the end zone, returned it for 30 yards.

It's called the Doctor's Hospital Training Facility. Out of respect for your wishes, I will call it the practice bubble from here on out. :chuckle:

Awesome. Thanks man.

As always Daytona, many thanks for the thread.

I would ask that you consider not calling it the "Saban bubble" moving forward. While i respect your opinion greatly and am fine with you giving the bubble whatever positive or negative spin/nickname you like, I am of the mind that referring to structures with people names is generally reserved as a point of honor.

While he has had success at multiple places, IMHO, Saban's time here did not merit naming or even nicknaming a structure after him.

Thanks.

ive always liked the media calling it the Saban bubble, im fairly sure it isnt meant as a compliment lol

Simply cannot believe some of the comments from a certain reporter re who is progressing or declining - it's OTA's - there's no pads on, it's just shorts and a lid. It's a different game when you kit up.

As for Miller making yards up the middle and it being commented on like it's a development from last year... again.. no pads. He can go hard up the middle and know he's not going to get whacked.

Also - I wouldn't worry about Garner at LT - I do believe they want an old head who has played LG beside Turner to help with his development and the communication etc. I don't see it as a long term plan - could be wrong, but this is the sort of thing that you use OTA's and even Pre-season for.

The focuses for me reading these tweets are;
- who is lining up where... and by that I don't mean that Grimes is playing way off WR's - that's irrelevant at this stage.
- tempo out of the huddle
- motion and shifts [the fact that it's happening - woo hoo!!!]
- Alignments/personnel packages
- which 2nd/3rd stringers are getting a look with the 1's

But even with that, I take it all with a pinch of salt.

pads or not... grimes was dominant from day 1 last year. Thats concerning today

DC Kevin Coyle said the Dolphins weighed the idea of putting Dion Jordan on injured reserve at the start of the season.

commenting just on the tweet feeds provided here....it seems the offense is already showing some improvement from last year. Hope that trend continues.
