Dolphins sign Delmas

Delmas played 1018 of a possible 1032 snaps this season past.

The degenerative knee thing is a clear concern over time. But a one year deal removes most of that concern.

Neither deserve it after there play on the field.

Signing Delmas to a one year deal doesn't mean anything IMO..

I don't really care about getting Bryd., but the Delmas signing has no bearing in it..I do think a surprise CB signing will happen tho
 
Coyle has a skill for.getting the most out his secondary.

Carroll, jones, clemons, heck even wilson, all made huge improvements under him.

I honestly think that's why delmas came here, it also doesn't hurt grimes got a 1 year prove it backed up w a new contract. Thats how you get free agents to want to come to you.

I will say this though, when Delmas is on the field, he does have a impact and has elite ability. Those knees are bad and are only gonna get worse. Let's hope they stay good for a while.

There is no pleasing some of you. I am happy with this signing. Would I have preferred Byrd, yes, but happy we got Delmas. Bye Clemons.
 
worst case scenario, he blows and is gone after a year. Best case scenario, you get a difference maker and a leader who will be 28 going into the 2015 season.

And for those complaining he's a lot like Jones, in a lot of ways he is, but in the Mike Zimmer/Kevin Coyle defense it doesn't matter
 
For 1 year 3.5 million dollars I find it impossible to hate this move. I would have preferred to bring back Clemons, but eh.

My thoughts exactly. Saves some money for the offensive line. I think we will draft a safety to compete with Delmas.
