Dolphins sign Delmas

B- signing. I would've preferred Byrd, but maybe he was just asking too much for our tastes? Delmas is a marginal upgrade over Clemons if anything, made slightly more plays than Chris. I like that we're not tied to him long term, probably a show-me-what-you-got kind of deal before we give him multiple years and more money.

I'm good with the signing. Relatively inexpensive and only 1 year. Let him prove himself. I know he's been injured but he's a play maker and a thumper when he's on the field. Maybe he can help bring Thomas along too.

FS is a strong point of this years draft. Expect to draft one rounds 4-6 to groom.

bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch. Every signing MUST BE the VERY BEST AVAILABLE! NO EXCEPTIONS!!

you guys are funny...who gives a f what i think...i want to spend money on guys i think can suit up for 16 games...sorry...but again at least its not a multi year commitment

i was told i was bitching last year when we signed philip wheeler to that horrid contract we are sitting on right now...at least we havent done anything that stupid...yet

This is a solid deal 1 yr for 3.5 for young talented S on a prove it deal. I know I shouldn't be surprised but how do people always find something to complain about. Even Rotoworld who seems to be anti Fins stated it was an upgrade.

It's amazing people thought Byrd was an option, we just gave Grimes a pretty sweet deal so we have to move to other needs. Miami can't sign all the top free agents unfortunately. They have to simply fill gaps too.

Delmas being a released player does not count against the team when figuring compensatory picks next spring. That is good.

Congrats to RSR client & North Miami Beach Highschool alum Louis Delmas on signing with his hometown team the Miami Dolphins!

anybody at least wondering why detroit would move on over a max $3.5 mil one year contract??? if not probably should be wondering...it's not like that's any money really or any cap implication...

probably tired of the player not being dependable durability wise...anyways hopefully coyle can resurrect this latest pet project

kevin coyle made chris crocker look (relatively) good. and we all know how much crock sucked when he was here. if he was on board for acquiring delmas and letting clemons go in free agency, i am all for adding him to the secondary for cheap.

Didn't he play in every game last season?
