Eric Smith who does contribution for 5 Reasons Sports had a good breakdown of Borom's play. Not saying he is this or will make the team, but with his ability in run game I can see a pathway where he can revitalize his career as a guard. But as Eric says a bunch in his video, at tackle he has bad feet in space and the Bears system hangs him out to dry a lot

If we don't sign or draft another guard, I'd rather see Borom win the starting LG job, than Eich. The latter could just be the backup IOL on game days. Borom's skill set seems like he could be a poor man's Tomlinson or Aaron Banks.
He actually has a much better 40 time, 5.15. Tomlinson, 5.22 on his pro day, and Banks, 5.34 on his.

He's terrible at OT. Worse outside than even rookie Eichenberg was. I can only guess the Dolphins intend to have him compete at LG. Nothing else makes sense. As an OT reserve, we'd be better off by far with Kion Smith. Not much power but the man can move his feet well enough to stay between a pass rusher and his QB.

He FCCKING SUCKS!!! As an OT I don't remember Miami ever having anyone so inept. As a guard, IMO, he is worse than Eichenberg. If Borom is Grier's idea of upgrading the OL, he should be working in a Waffle Hut rather than as an NFL GM. This is embarrassing. If not for Miami, I don't believe either Borom or Eich would be signed by any team yet.
