They should have just resigned either Ricky or Ronnie and kept one of our own. Whatever.

I like this move. I think that means Hilliard will be moved to FB and that Polite may be on his way out depending on if Clay is the TE or FB.

I like the move too. It can't hurt for Bush and Thomas to learn a little from a guy like Johnson. I just hope that Hilliard does not move to the FB position. I don't think he is strong enough or has proven that he can carry that load. I love Polite, but I understand that he is taking up a roster spot in an offense that is not going to use him that much, but I think we have to keep him this year. If Polite was in on that 4th and goal play from the 1 against the Panthers on Friday, there would have been no doubt of him getting in. That's what he brings to the table. I hope they keep him one more year until Hilliard or Clay develop a little more.

Why even bother moving Hilliard to FB? 1. He is not that good as a RB 2. We can roll with 1 FB on the roster why waste a spot on someone who might be able to Block ok? We have Clay, Cut Hilliard and lets move on.

I don't see any value in adding Johnson. Sheets wasn't going to make the roster, so maybe we're just taking a look at Johnson. Was there not anyone better... like ANYONE???

This team continues to amaze me with their lowballing tactics. A team with 90% backups and broken down aging players.

Ugh!

We NEED a Right Tackle, not a runningback. Ditching Ricky and Ronnie was a mistake, we shoulda kept one.

Does anyone feel this is an indication of how the Dolphins feel about DT right now? Not happy?

Not really, I believe they just want an experienced powerback just to have an insurance policy in a worst case scenario, just in cast DT does not hit full stride right away, and a better 3rd back to take some of the pressure off DT even if he does.

They can't put their full trust in a rookie, so with Johnson will hopefully allow DT to come along with less pressure on him.

Hilliard contributes well on ST. There's no way he leaves.
