Dolphins sign Ticats WR/KR Marcus Thigpen

CFL fan here. Thigpen really wasn't that good in the CFL. He had a few big returns in a stretch of a few games, but apart from that really didn't do that much or wasn't a consistent factor. There are many other kick returners in the league who I'd rank better than him. Sort of surprised with Thigpen getting an NFL shot (as I was with Ryan Grice-Mullen as well, who doesn't belong in either league). But who knows... maybe he might show something...

Not trying to be a dick, but I'm another CFL fan, and seriously, this dude couldn't be more wrong. I’m both a Dolphins fan, and a Hamilton fan where he played CFL football for the past few years. Marcus Thigpen is an elite playmaker at the CFL level. It’ll be interesting to see what he can do in the NFL, provided he even gets a real shot. He wasn’t the fastest guy on his CFL team, (that was ex-dolphin training camp star Chris Williams from a few years back) but he’s super quick with great vision and a natural ability to make guys miss. He just has that big play “it factor.” He was originally a running back for us (like a 5-carry-a-game change of pace guy.) Then they moved him to slotback mid-season, and he had a 200 yard+ effort in his first game. He’s a longshot to make the dolphins, but worth keeping an eye on. The guy has tons of talent.
 
Now we got our coaches, Ireland can refocus on adding the finish pieces to this team. Let's have another perfect F.A. (Bush, Burnett, Moore, JT) and another great draft (Pouncey, DT, Gates, Clay, Wilson) The hatred for Ireland is mind boggling. He missed on two key decisions last year, Colombo and choosing Benny Sapp over Will Allen. Didnt get Orton, Let Ricky, Ronnie walk, cut Channing overrated ***. #OCCUPYEVERYTHING
 
I mentioned it a few pages back being a season ticket holder I seen him all last year he can break a few runs and really help us on punt returns, I just hope he doesn't forget that the no yards rule isn't in play in the NFL
