Dolphins take Kaddu??? WHOOOO

He will be a great addition to the team. I've never heard of him but I have a good feeling about this one.

How can u have a good feeling about him if u never heard of the guy? sometimes people on here are amazing. I guess our FO is ok with hartline as our #1 WR cuz we have passed on a few good WRs in this draft even at this pick McNutt was there and streeter ( who im not too high on). Going to be painful watching our offense if we start the season with hartline bess and who knows who as our 3 Wrs

All I know is he's 6'3", plays with intensity and he runs 4.65. Not bad for a 5th rounder i'd say.

We still have 3 picks left (I think)

I'm thinking Ireland has some idea on a UFA or two. He will get the pick of the litter, since Miami will be seen as one of the best locations for a WR to make the roster.

He also has a lanky frame. So, at 6'3" he could bulk up considerably

Is it possible that outside of Blackmon, no WR this year was going to be able to make a contribution. That there may be fewer WRs in next year's draft that are NFL worthy, but the quality is much higher? Why waste a pick if you believe this year's WRs if drafted might not even be a part of the team in 2 to 3 years.

I have a feeling that the people who will be catching passes are already on the roster.

WTF???

I don't understand how someone who's supposedly an ASU alum/fan and pumps up Brock Osweiler doesn't know who Josh Kaddu is considering he had 2 TFL's against Arizona St. and sacked Osweiler. Including helping force 2 interceptions.

No kidding. Kaddu has a 3d round grade. Miami appears to be following their draft board, drafting BPA and snapping up falling talent.

do you like him Teddy?

I do. I'm not sure about the 3rd round grade, but I had him as one of the most underrated outside linebackers in the Senior class going back to December in my "Slimm's Gems" thread. I projected him in the 4th/5th round range back then.

He was a top 150 prospect on my board.

Slimm,
Just curious what it is you see in him? He seems to have nice measureables, but i think he struggles with instincts and really didn't make a lot of plays for a defense that usually allows playmakers to do so in Oregon. He was 6th on the team in tackles and did very little against the better teams on the schedule (Wisconsin, USC, Cal.....7 tackles, 1 for loss). His big games were against Arizona State and Colorado. I don't see him anything more than a backup and special teamer.

We pass on Carder and take Kaddu? Un****ing believable...

Like him. Good athlete who can cover--hopefully Tight Ends--and play in space.

What I didn't like: DeQuan Menzie and Tank Carder going 11, 12; wish we picked one of those two.

Exactly! If they wanted an LB. Tank Carder was right there...just make the pick. Instead, we pass for a guy who only had 108 tackles in two years...ridiculous!
