Dolphins tender Binns and Freeny

So this means binns is staying?

Seems that way. I expected Binns would be given a shot this year again to prove himself, he was looking great in pre-season last year before getting hurt, he could be the real deal for Miami, and could help Miami a lot if healthy....especially in redzone.

We all cannot forget that prior to his injury, Binns was looking really good in training camp and towards the end of 2012 he was stepping up as well. I think we have amazing depth at WR right now especially if everyone continues to grow within the system.

I remember Binns for dropping a pass on 4th down on our last drive for dignity in a 27 to Nothing loss to the Patriots to close out our 2012 season. Until I see otherwise, that's what I'll think of Binns.

We're really good at WR. Binns just needs to stay healthy.

Clyde Gates looked good in shorts all off season too. Like iamtv said Binns dropped a for sure first down that would have been a TD against the Pats in Dec 12, Binns at this time is below Mathews so no point really getting excited over a big guy who drops his big chance IMO.

I have never seen you say one positive word on these boards. Until I see otherwise, that's what I'll think of you.

Decent to good prospect, but great 5th receiver. You can forget about that position altogether, we're stacked.

Binns was put into a tough spot and he didn't make the play. I think he is worth a continued look. Matthews did nothing for 2 years as well and now he is coming on.
Binns is a nice addition at a great price.

Good, I like Binns. He was having a nice camp before his injury last year.

Bingo. Although none really stand out, I don't think you'll find a better core of receivers than Wallace, Hartline, Gibson, Matthews, and Binns. We need a speedy receiver like Bruce Ellington.

No he wasn't, and unlike other hero in camp/Zero in games, Binns was able to play a game in pre-season, and he did look good....also the year before he was looking good, iamtiv remembering one play is agenda driven and very short sighted of how he was looking most of that season when he was brought in and given a shot.
