Dolphins' throwback uniforms could become permanent...

i say go back to the throwbacks full time and make the alternate a light gray jersey with orange/teal/white incorporated in the numbers and names somehow...dolphins are in fact gray so theres that and we still incorporate our colors but the alternate would be another color than our normal ones so its actually different...to be honest i was never a huge fan of the bright orange as our alternate all those years

i actually really like the top logo here, it looks nice...it looks new and old at the same time without looking cartoonish or like a sign at seaworld

Fully in front, and larger, the '74-89 design.

If they wanted to do away with the thin lines coming off the sun I'd be okay with that, just to give it a little bit more of a modern/clean design aesthetic. But honestly, I'd be happier with any of our pre-2013 logos. I still think the throwback uniforms are MUCH better, but I can even live with the current uniform, it's the logo that's gotta go.

To this day, I can't even imagine what they were thinking. It's genuinely one of the worst logos in NFL history, and I say this not as a Dolphins fan, but as a career artist and designer that's worked on branding for Fortune 500 companies. It doesn't read well, it's too abstract, and it's an odd shape for merchandising purposes. It's also feels very effeminate, and while I realize a dolphin will never really look "tough" the older logos at least didn't feel out of place given the context of football.

yea i have a t shirt and a fitted hat i got as gifts but rarely if ever wear either of them, the hat just sits in a closet collecting dust and its probably time to transition the shirt to a rag in the garage at this point

I like that logo but would like it better with the traditional teal color. I don't like the light aqua they use now...

Imagine an orange version of the throwbacks (exact same as aqua throwbacks but with all the aqua and orange swapped). Looks awesome in my head and hope it would be an alternate if they do go back to throwbacks full time.
