Not complaining but why tender him in the first place? Strange.

Lazy, unmotivated, waste of a really high pick.

The Dolphins probably tried to dangle him on the trade market and, not surprisingly, found no suitors. Good riddance.
 
Merling was one of the picks I was strongly against that year. I was hoping for Jordy Nelson or Brandon Flowers.
 
This does bump up DE a little on the priority list. If Miami runs a 3-4 they only have 3 ends on the roster. If they run a 4-3, Wake then moves to end but Starks would more than likely kick inside. Not saying they're going to take a DE like Coples in the first but i'd bet they take one early than most on here will want
 
Pretty much makes Coples the pick, no? Ugh.
