Dolphins | Turk Misses Practice, Likely Out for Opener

Doc, you're too right about groin injuries being nagging and especially bad for a punter-of course the downside is as strong as young Jones' leg is, his directional punting skills, control of flight, and hang time consistency aren't half of Turk's (not saying Turk is so great but he's better than average in those areas)
 
so then the question becomes do we really want to lose him for the whole year-there's a reason St Nick put Jones on the PS-he's not ready (but he's an LSU boy)

We won't carry 2 punters for more than a week or 2. If Turk comes back for game 2, Glenn (or whoever else is cut) will be brought right back. If Turk ends up out for a while, Turk will be the one getting the ax.
 
I hope we don't dump Glenn for Jones. Dump someone like Will Heller.

St Nick put him on the ps BECAUSE he knew Turk was hurt and might not be able to play. That being said only time will tell if Jones is ready.
 
with turk out, who holds for mare? jones is supposedly a bad holder.

Make Feeley the holder, might as well give him something to do besides holding a clip board!
