What up guys! I was wondering out loud if there is any Dolphins TV on sunshine network or Fox Sport Florida. Everytime I try to record a Dolphin show, I get messages like its blacked out up here. For tv shows? Its not sporting events! If any one has any advice to share, It would be much appreciated!!!

I think I read somewhere that they are changing the blackout rules this year. So with any luck those games won't be blacked out this year. I'm up here in Oregon, so the only time I get to see a fins game is Sun, Mon nights when we get those games. All we get to see here is the Seachickens every Sunday, and either Denver, SF, or a lot of Dallas games.

Im sorry if I didnt clarify it. I was hoping to see shows that pertain to the Miami Dolphins. So far on Directv (FSFL), I cannot seem to record or view any Dolphin programming and its quite frustrating! I have the channel. Just blacks out those shows. But they will show the hell out of some golf, fishing, or rodeos shows! LOL

According to the new commercials, Sunday Ticket is supposed to be free with DirecTV now. So that'll get you all season games no matter where you are.

As far as TV programming, the only thing is maybe what Kim Bokamper does on CBS or when Drew Rosenhaus does this thing on one of the news stations. You might as well watch Finsiders everyday which is online.

I'm up in Orlando w/ directv and yesterday I dvr'd the 2 half hour season previews by nfl films and inside the fins on Fox Sports Florida. I have problems (very rarely) where my receiver will say I have not purchased this channel, yada yada. I'd call directv and see what the problem is. Hope they can clear it up for you!

I live i central Florida and the only dolphins related shows i have seen are on tv27( i believe). They are two shows on Sunday mornings during the season, the coaches show and a dolphins insider show(bokamper and other former fins host it).

For the free Sunday Ticket, you would have to be a new subscriber or if you are a customer already, you would have to utilize the movers package and they would offer it for you.

The Dolphins Weekly Live aired their first show this morning at 11:30 with a short recap of Saturday's scrimmage. They also showed a few practice highlights.

Kim Bokamper, Sam Madison and Keith Sims were the hosts.

I live in NJ with directv. And i too tried to DVR the dolphin shows on FSFL i think it was "inside the fins". Then i was all ready to watch and all i got was that this show was blacked out in your area.. ITS BS!!! i hate directv soooo much but i just keep it for the sunday ticket. I really dont know why they woould block out a show??? its not a live sporting event?

If you live in New Jersey you wont het FSFL you only get Fox sports for the area in which you live, the other fox sports areas are blacked out.

Example ,I live in Tennessee and I get FSTN or Foxsports Tenn and any game on that station is considered local and I can watch, unless a game is blacked out,but tv shows related to that channel I always get and are never blacked out.But again, since I dont live in the Florida and Miami area,I do not get there local sports Fox Sports..... FSFL chanell.

Maybe this could help though,of you wanted to give it a try. Someone told me you could call in to Direct TV,tell them you had moved and live in the Florida/Miami area part time and have installed a satelite there, and thus would like to change your LOCAL TV programming to that area, and thus you would be able to watch the Dolphins games from where-ever you live. Tel them to leave the billing at the same address in which you really live though,as a friend picks the bill up for you there.

Basically its the same as camping.I go camping and take my Direct TV with me,I can get a signal anywhere, and you are allowed to do that, but to recieve the channel programming from that area, like the local channels, you are suppose to live there. But who is to say you dont and have a timkeshare,or vacation home there as a get away,or what-ever. You will lose your New Jersey programming local of course, but hey,you get to watch the Dolphins and all there games. Hope that was clear enough explained and maybe helps some.
