Dolphins vs Bills Pre-game discussion

Also I ask if new broke that a new owner that will not move the team (a threat that has been over your fan bases head for 20 years) broke, dont you think you would have similar reactions.

Yeah I can't blame any Bills fan for being very happy at the news that a Western New York guy bought the team and is pretty clearly planning to keep the team in Buffalo. That's a reason for celebration.

But I think there's kind of a funny difference this week between what I've seen from Dolphins fans (Tannehill SUCKS! we could have scored 45 points!) and Bills fans (EJ Manuel is suddenly good? Come on.) to the extent that for a Bills fan to come in and accuse Dolphins fans of overreacting to one win is just silly, IMO. If anything I think the majority of Dolphins fans are overreacting negatively about their QB.

Pointing to ONE thread that ONE dope started about Super Bowl aspirations really is the most disingenuous, junc-type of thing you can do here.

2 Bills fans arguing with each other on a Dolphins web site ...

 Sounds like the opener to a joke.

No one said EJ is good.

Not in this thread, but I have seen it elsewhere on the internet and heard it on the radio. Just like you haven't seen anyone in this thread claiming Miami is going to the Super Bowl.

But please, continue.

Very true, but if you ask MOST Bills fans what they think of EJ, you are not going to get he is good. I am cautiously optimistic with him. However until he start hitting WRs accurate out of the pocket I will always wonder about him. However what I did see is Him Moving ALOT more against the Bears than I saw all last season.

Like the Bills gave up on the Pocket QB transformation and said just go play football. Now that has me optimistic about him.

But I look at Bills roster TOP to BOTTOM (minus the QB) and this is a 10 win team talent wise.

Add the QB and I see anywhere between 6 and 10 wins. That is how much ??? I have with EJ Still.

I dont think he is going to win you a game with putting the team on his back, and in the NFL you need that for at least 1 to 3 games to become a playoff team.

OK here goes.
Two Bills fans are arguing on a Dolphins website about who's been there longer and who is or isn't a troll when nyjunc shows up to tell everyone that Mark Sanchez is still the greatest QB in the AFC East...:rimshot:

I like the bills roster and feel they have done a good job building it...

As far as EJ...I waited for the light to come on for EJ at FSU and it never did, could it eventually...maybe, but the guy 6'5" of frustration and disappointment.

And I think that is what we are going to find out, and it Could Cost Whaley his GM Job. That is why Orton was given 5M, to be the classic Bridge QB. If EJ Fails by week 10 Orton comes in, shows he can keep the team afloat with this roster. Then in 2015 you dont need to reach for a QB in 2nd round with your top pick.

This offseason was all about eliminating any excuses for EJ.

Shot 1 - Go get a talented but troubled WR in Mike Williams (6th)
Shot 2 - Trade up for the Dynamic Consensus top WR in Watkins
Shot 3 - Go Get talented RB in Trade now you have 4
Shot 4 - Sign Orton as the BU late because you were struggling.

This has to be the year the light comes on or Bills with new Owner will go in a different direction, really the Roster is close to there, MINUS the QB

miami is in for a big test sunday. the ralph will be rockin, the fan base in re-energized by an unexpected 1-0 start and mr. pegula confirmed to become the next owner.

tannehill better hope moreno and miller show up big, especially early, to take some heat off. i expect a lot of draws, counters, and screens to combat the aggressive d-line.

i think buffalo wins this matchup 6 times out of 10, as i believe it will be decided in the trenches.

however, if tannehill and wallace can raise their game a notch and get more help from hartline/gibson/clay, then i think miami can prevail. buffalo's weapons are just as dynamic on offense, but i think tannehill can go to a place e.j. can't at this point in his career - and that is total command of the offense.

should be a great 60 minute ballgame. gun to my head, i'll stick with the home team: 31-28 buffs

I don't begrudge you that, but I think you are a little too optimistic. You essentially had a 4-5 win team last season if Miami could have blocked ANYONE off the edge. To me, that means you are either saying that EJ is that bad, or that the coaching is terrible.

I don't really think the Bills are terribly coached. I do think EJ is holding you back BIGTIME and I think the sooner you guys switch to Orton the better.

I pointed to the Super Bowl thread because the poster said Bills fans talk about winning the SB. Which is laughable.

Dont sugercoat it.

EJ sucks.

Yes, the Bills fans talking about the super bowl is laughable. Well put.

And I also think we had better than that if EJ Doesnt get hurt

CLE we win
KC we win
Cincy we win.

I mean after all we did have a QB playing that is not on any roster now, and the other Tuel on the PS.

EJ plays I think we win those to three games because he doesnt make the mistakes Tuel did in those games

IF?

If Norwood didn't miss that kick the Bills win the Super Bowl.

If Flutie starts against Tennessee, were probably going to ANOTHER Super Bowl.

If Lindell doesn't shank the 28 yarder, the Bills beat the Playoffs and are in the 2004 playoffs.

If if's and butts were candy and nuts we would all have a VERY merry Christmas.

Right and I think this is where we disagree. You think that EJ wins you some of those games, and I don't think he does. I think EJ is just a more athletic Thad Lewis who got drafted in the first round and therefore you can't just cut his ass, too.

But if anything, that is good news for you. You have a talented team being held back by a doo-doo quarterback. There are far worse situations to have.
