Dolphins Want To Bring In Carmichael

This is boom or bust. I like that he can probably put a great offensive scheme but can he make Moore or Rookie QB actually run it like Brees or Fasano or clay to be Grahm. It's hard to say, I see Zimmerman as the tough no non sense coach when I see him. McCoy big name or not has seem to get the best out of his team no matter where he goes which in my eyes is big. It shows he can manage what he has and see the player for what he is and not what he is trying to force him into.

No matter what he is worthy of a interview and a chance so top 3 Zimmer, McCoy, Carmichael....this is for now but one of these young coaches is a guy we can build with. Who that's the question. Hopefully Ross and Ireland make the right decision or this year Miami fans will prolly boycott team lol

Easy way to find out if he's Cam Cameron part 2:

During the interview, ask him if he believes in failing forward fast, drafting undersized punt returners with stone hands #9 overall, and coming up with outrageous rules such as "no talking on the team plane during flights."

This guy maybe smart and innovative as a coordinator but he has never played college or pro ball and I have a hard time believing he could garner the respect a head coach needs when the chips are down. He looks like a little nerd. He just doesn't look the part and that has alot to do with it. Bill Cowher he is not.

That's a good point because we've never seen Brees' backup, Chase Daniel, play in the regular season. We don't really have a gauge for how well he can develop a QB which I think is vital for the next coaching staff...doesn't have to be the head coach but I think the OC and QB coach will have to have a strong history of developing QBs if not the head coach. Whether we take a QB in the later rounds, trade up for RGIII (which I would not do) or wait till next year we're going to need to develop a QB.

Saints fan here...you guys would be lucky to get Pete...smart, solid and steady. Pete's not a rah rah guy like the Ryans...don't expect that. IMO, you need to dump Matt Moore and go after Matt Flynn. Flynn could run Pete's scheme, and make the reads. Expect what you see in New Orleans. A multitude of formations, and 2-4 players coming in every play. Keeps defenses guessing and way off balance. IMO, Reggie Bush would probably return to his old role he played with the Saints, which means he lines up everywhere.

what do you need to see?

i would say it spoke VOLUMES that peyton let him continue with the play calling duties AFTER he came back.

he COORDINATES this whole powerhouse show. he is the guy who designs it, teaches it and helps develope the ones who are assigned to make the plays.

drew brees was NOT the drew brees we know now before coming to the saints. he was good in san diego, took him 2 years to get respectable but wasnt elite at all. and he was deemed expendable and let go.

drew himself has said over and over how much carmichael has meant to his growth into the player he is now.

his wrs are not household names, but they ALL have shined under petes direction. when you have people who can step in and produce, thats a great system. it may be an offense that sean peyton likes to run but its the coordinator that gets it all to happen.

so again, what do you need to see HAYDEN? what are you NOT seeing?

Also you would think he would require this team to draft a freak TE and QB. Something we've been crying for and seem to be necessary to be a great offense. The young freak TEs are dominating.

No one is interviewing today. Ross flew back to New York last night and the coaching search might be over.

I wouldnt mind Chud, Carmichael, or Zimmer at this point. Better choices then fischer each of them.

that is just too smart to do...so we won't

If they wanna bring him in, then ****ing do it already and keep things moving. There's nothing holding anyone back here.

Again, the Cam comparison is unsubstantiated. Cam is Cam...nobody else.
And by the same token, you don't know if he is HC material or not.. Because he hasn't done it, doesn't mean he can't...like lots of the other OCs we are looking at. And actually, designing and implementing an offense does mean a little something.

"Fail, Forward, Fast" I'll never forgive Cam Cameron for uttering that stupid phrase!
