Dolphins will defintely add a RB

People actually want MJD here?

:bobdole:

Maybe he just didn't care in Jax but the guy is done.

- MJD lead the league in rushing prior to his 2012 lisfranc injury, even on a terrible Jaguars team.
- 2012 was a wash as he suffered a lisfranc injury and was lost for the season.
- In 2013 it's easy to look at the sub 4 YPC and right him off, fact is according to PFF the Jaguars OL graded out as easily the worst run blocking unit in the 6 or 7 years they've been conducting the research.
- We need a 3 down back, MJD had an astonishing 110 plays in protection, he was guilty of ZERO pressures. That's exactly what we need.
- He can help in short yardage and on 3rd downs, that's big.
- He'll be 29 at the start of the season, I believe his solid build opens him up to at least another 2 successful years.
- He's a perfect compliment to Lamar Miller.
- His ceiling is likely Steven Jackson's contract of 3 years at 12 million. It's unlikely he'd get that, something in the ball park of 3 years at around $9 million with some incentives would get it done.
- There's only one RB in this class who really fits the mold of a 3 down player who can help in short yardage, that's Carlos Hyde. He won't be on our board.
- We don't need 300 carries out of him, we need him on 3rd downs and short yardage and as a compliment to Miller. We can keep him fresh.

Donald brown looked like he was coming into his own before his injury. His talents really started to shine through.

Dunno if he fits a zbs though.

Didn't Hickey draft Bloundt out of Oregon? Seems like a good fit.

pretty sure donald brown is a charger now

If they want bruisers, they go Anthony Dixon or Andre Brown.... Blount is done.

I would take MJD over Blount. Blount is huge but he isn't great in short yardage, MJD is better IMO is pass pro and short yardage. Im on board with Fear the Beard on this one

Um.....Yea. We dont need an 1800 rusher on the team. We need a power guy who can break tackles, gain that short yardage first down, block, pick up the blitz and catch. MJD does all of that. How is he a bad option? Yea he had a down year last year... on the worst offensive team in the league, with a horrible line and QB and just overall bad offense.

He would be a great addition to our team and is exactly the type of HB we need.

I really like Tate..

Don't want my FA RB coming off the worst yr of his career l yr removed from lisfrac surgery who will be 30 in a yr.....I would only take a chance on him if he was already on my team....lets fix the position for 3yrs instead of a poor 1 yr maybe fix.....I love MJD but not to be my lead back at this point in his career, not worth the risk.....
