When you have 13 draft picks and a coach who turns chicken **** into productive QB's . . .

I'm all for low risk, high reward but that 6th rounder was just wasted on Gabbert. The guy has no business in the NFL. Would of been better of waiting on Weeden to get released and picking him up.

In fact, should of just brought back Colt McCoy if you are reaching for Gabbert.

Yes, plenty of picks, but don't just waste them.

I will take that 7th rounder all day, any day. Hits are not common in the 7th but I sure enjoy having Rishard Matthews for $570,000 this year.

Based on the Dolphins sniffing around late round prospects and Philbin's comment today about possibly adding competition for Devlin, I am thinking this 7th round pick will be for a quarterback. Maybe someone like Logan Thomas or Tom Savage.

The McKinnie pick moves to the 7th round of 2015. That means Miami currently has one pick in every round this upcoming May(7 total). In the end we will still likely end up with a 7th round pick in 2015 as we are expected to get a 7th from San Francisco for Martin. So it will even out.

Exactly. That was a very deep WO draft which caused him to fall and with this years draft being so deep good talent will be had on Day 3.
