Jimmy Wilson will be starting free safety half of the year due to Delmas getting injured, just watch :crazy:

Big problem with that is he's your starting Nickle corner right now at least...sees the field In that role at least 60 percent of the time...

Even if it was as a backup we'd be better suited to stay away from Delmas IMO...has more a strong safety game and stays hurt...pass

I wonder if they see Don Jones as something. Yeah it's a stretch, I know. The guy sure flys around the field though. Plays very aggressive, and covers a lot of space in a short amount of time. I'm going to guess his coverage skills are very suspect though.

If we get him cheap enough there's no reason we can't view him as extremely high quality depth if we choose to take a FS early in the draft. A low cost high potential signing with the ability to play FS and push Reshad at a more natural position if he doesn't improve from last year. Though signing Delmas would take us out of the Byrd running, I would love it if Hickey was only acting on an opportunity to improve overall roster talent at a cheap cost. That would be night and day from Ireland and exactly how I'd want our GM running our team.
