Dolphins Workout WR Braylon Edwards

I would take Edwards over Hartline, unfortunately. Hartline has never proven anything, except that he can make a difficult catch every 2 or 3 games. Edwards can win a game for you. Worth looking at, but only because our receiving corpse is the worst in football

worse than the browns? we have bess, hartline, and chad johnson. thats not the worst

braylon edwards was the best receiver on two afc championship teams. definitely not a bad option. he demands a double team or hes behind the secondary. braylon doesnt have as bad of hands as you all think. he has never played with a good quarterback and hes had to bail his qb out way too many times with inaccurate passes. I remember a year ago when alot of people were hoping for us to grab braylon to give us the deep threat we had been missing. now he's not even worth a look?

Look won't hurt I admit I didn't see much of him last year but as a Jet and Brown he was always a big play threat. I just question if this guy has the professionalism to let a embarrassing year haunt him like ocho does.

He got his look. He didn't get offered. He's clearly lost it.

Can't blame the QB for his dismal season in SF. And I'd argue that Cotchery was the better WR in 2009. Sorry, don't see the point in bringing in an aging diva WR with a horrible case of the dropsies, particularly when that is the number one complaint everybody has against Marshall.

he was hurt last year. had a knee issue all year. im down for bringing him in on a 1 year vet minimum. if he doesnt flash anything in the preseason you cut him and it almost costs us nothing

"he has never played with a good quarterback"

VERY true. I actually had a chance to meet him at News Cafe on South Beach last year. Seemed like a really nice dude. Maybe he has matured.

I can get you $10 mil. right now so that we could trade for Wallace It is not going to be a popular opinion but one that I would do.

I saw we are $4 mil under the cap now. So we need another $6 mil. Cut Tony McDaniel and David Garrard and you would have your other $6 mil.

Intrigued by this tryout. There is denying this guy has amazing talent its just his head the reason he is out of the league and yea well of course the drops but if he focused he is an elite talent. He can really play football and dude supposely can also runs low 4.4s. Well see how this tryout plays out, hopefully its not a larry johnson part deuce.

Some people in the media have mentioned that since Braylon worked out for the Dolphins on Tuesday and haven't signed him yet it means they won't sign him. I disagree. IMO I think the Dolphins want to take a long look at their current young WR's for the first 10 days of camp and then make a decision on Braylon just in case one of the young WR's emerges.

I was at practice today and wasn't impressed by any of the young WR's. Roberto Wallace still runs lazy routes. Gates still rounds out his routes and plays much slower than his speed. Pruitt and Moore drop too many balls. I predict Braylon will be signed right before the 1st preseason game.

If he doesn't cost a ton, I wouldn't mind bringing him onboard. Of course, if he's got nothing left in the tank, then it's not worth it.

Meh. I found this out on google this morning lol. We are supposed to be making contact with the steelers. I would rather try for wallace than sign edwards.

i thought it was said that the steelers has no intrest in trading Wallace ?
