Dolphins would have easily made the playoffs if..

Screw just making the playoffs, we would have been a dynasty with Luck and/or Wilson.
 
I don't know about all that but over the past two seasons our field goal kickers have missed chip shot field goals in two games each season that would of put us in the playoffs.
 
Just watching the game tonight and in this "what if" scenario, mine is that this conversation would have been preempted years ago if a certain dumbazz at the pro level would have drafted Aaron Rodgers instead of a part time SEC RB and signing a journeyman free agent best known for banging his head against walls.
 
Run the ball at home vs Buffalo at the end of the game and punt it with one of the best in the business and the team gets in last year at 9-7.

Probably. That was what Sherman called but Tannehill changed the play. That one audible probably cost Sherman and Ireland their jobs. I would say it worked out for the best though....

Listing 9 "maybe's" is just silly. One stands out above them all and the OP didn't even list it. Better O-line play. Period. If we were able to subtract 15-20 sacks we would have made the playoffs despite everything else that was listed. (#5 would have been a mistake in trying to fix that)
 
I'm looking forward to the opportunity the Dolphins have to finally make the playoffs this year instead of dwelling on what could've/should've been last season.
