Don Shula has passed away (Dolphins will wear memorial patch)

Rest in Peace, Coach Shula.

We all know about the wins and superbowls etc. Putting that aside, this was a man of the highest level of integrity and respect for fellow man, the game and doing things the right way. I am overwhelmed with sadness today - my mind is constantly processing memories of Shula and the team during my childhood. I never met the man but loved him as if I had known him like one would a close friend. It’s what he exemplified in terms of character that drew people toward him. A class act of a human being and the greatest football coach of all time. Rest In Peace. Thoughts and prayers to the Shula family.
 
I send his family my deepest condolences. Shula was one-of-a-kind. Very sad news.
