Don Shula on at 4:30 Today w/ Hank

Damn dude. That's awesome how you can say that you were there for that game. I remember being 6 years old and watching that game with my mom and dad (rabid Dolfans). It was so exciting. Shula said he got to the OB and the stadium was already half full.

Shula alluded to what you are saying. He said "it'll never be the same until it becomes 'football only' again".

That game is still to this day my best memory as a Dolfan.
The OB had many games that had that electricity. An electricity I've never felt at one game at Joe Robbie.

It would be nice if they played 4 games a year there.

The Jets, Bills, Patriots, and one other game that seems crucial at the beginning of the season.

Home crowd advantage is something we don't have.

Not in a million years. I don't know where that rumor originated. But that can't even be 50 feet off the radar screen.

you think? how old was vermiel when he came back to win the sb?

Vermeil was 60 when he came back to coaching (with the Rams). Shula will be 74 next month.

i wouldn't be surprised if , when all is said and done, shula has something to do with the team again. maybe like walsh in san fran. i doubt that he really wants to come back as a HC though.

maybe some family members will be more directly involved.
