But Henne's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, I mean, the cheese fell off his cracker, he's a few fries short of a happy meal. Know what I'm sayin?

even a broken clock is right twice a day?

Henne has got to stop with the picks...."this is only preseason" can not be used as an excuse anymore. (Although the bounce off Fasano (?) didn't look to be his fault from first view). Did he throw behind him?

He could have led him better, but if the ball hits you between the hands, bounces off your chest, pops up and gets picked . . . I kind of feel that is the TE's fault.

According to Henne supporters - no
Those who are sick of his ****- yes

I'd really like to see a higher quality version of the play to really analyze it.

getting in shape, eating better, feeling healthy......still dealing with my inner robot

Why is anyone even worried or surprised about Henne? He's been doing EXACTLY the SAME THING for 3 years. No more, no less.

I could give 2 ****s what string he was playing against. You either have the accuracy to throw passes on the money where only your receivers can get it or you don't. You either make good reads or you don't. Matt Moore did. Henne didn't, and hasn't yet in his time as a Dolphin. That pass between 2 or 3 defenders to Wallace was as good a pass as you'll see. That pass to Gates in the endzone, thing of beauty. 1st, 2nd, 3rd string, doesn't matter. And that's only his arm. His pocket awareness was tremendous. He sensed the pressure, got away from it, and got the ball out. That one play where he broke like 2 tackles in the backfield to attempt the pass (don't remember to who) was very impressive, even though the ball was short.

Matt Moore earned him some 1st team reps in practice this week. If he looks good in practice, and looks good again in game 2, he will get snaps with the starters in that 3rd preseason game where starters typically play an entire half. And if he looks better than Henne, he better get the starting job.

Moore solid B today
Henne had an f till the touchdown which brought him back to a C-

henne doesn't make that second touchdown that moore throws in back of the inzone to gates
henne doesn't escape from the pressure like Moore..

I see sparano conflicted who to start certain weeks..

Let's be fair. Moore was brought in "to compete" for the starting job. I don't care if they thought Moore would beat henne out or not, if he does, he does. Moore looked better with 2 weeks practice than the guy who has had 3 years with these receivers. Now, the fasano interception was fasanos fault. But let's be honest, Henne doesn't have that "it" factor about him. You can tell when you watch him. Canon of an arm, for sure. Ability to read defenses, not at all

There once was this QB who everybody said really sucked, as he couldn't win anything for the Tampa Bay Bucs, who were the probably the worst team in football at the time, then he got traded to a team with some talent and he became a Hall of Fame QB...Remember Steve Young??? I am not saying Moore is Steve Young, but sometimes guys get a lot better with a change of scenery.

Bingo!! This is what those who believe in Henne need to look at. Forget if it's 1st, 2nd, or 3d team on the field and watch what the QB is doing.

I'll give Henne credit on the TD to Hartline for recognizing the single coverage and taking advantage of it. You can say broken coverage but recognizing and going to it is something we have not seen much of from him. The rest of his performance was in line with right where he left off last season. Moore looked better. His pocket awareness and movement seemed a lot more effortless then Henne makes it out to be and his accuracy was much better. Henne is the guy but I really want to see more Moore.

Several teams were high on Moore after his breakout season. Then he laid an egg the next year. Also had a decimated supporting cast around him. Without making any excuses for the guy, bc I'm not his mother or his agent, I think it's fair to say that some people turn it around when given a second chance. Not saying Matt Moore will end up being the savior for the Dolphins, but also not saying he isn't better than Chad Henne.

31 other teams that didn't want Matt Moore... Lol which one of those 31 teams do you think want Chad Henne? I guess I just don't understand your passionate disapproval of Moore, or your need to knock down anyone who sees the possibility of an upgrade in the kid

Henne also threw his touchdown against second team defenders. Just saying

I am watching the replay and that TD Moore threw to Wallace under heavy pressure was beautiful. I really like what he is showing.
