dont drink the matt moore kool aid

Are you not the same person that was saying Henne was responsible for his first int? It is amazing how your outlook changes with a different qb...

Henne threw his pick on a 5 yard dump off. Moore threw his pick on a 40 yard go route. I'll be the first to admit that my outlook changes depending on the QB- I'm much more forgiving when there is a QB who actually tries to make something happen and occasionally screws up, as opposed to the guy who has shown over 2 years that he can't make plays downfield and cannot consistently avoid crippling turnovers. And my opinion also changes when the receiver involved is going to be on the street in four weeks.

DOLPHIN CHAMPS:

WHY? and be detailed. you have watched about 20 minutes of the guy so how have you made a decison like that so fast?

why is this guy so hated? expecially when there is nobody special in front of him, no beloved player like a marino or elway. its like fans are going to cry and fall apart if moore ends up being better than henne. i just dont get it.
at this point in time matt more is playing against 2nd and 3rd stringers and im not saying in any way he is looking bad i liked the back endzone td to gates i just dont think he has the arm strength needed and he is a little antsy when the coverage breaksdown not saying henne is much better in these situations and at this point i think if matt moore outperforms henne in preseason (maybe playing a few possesions with the first string) and in practice and the coaches make him the starter i am fine with that but i like the tools henne has a little more and im trusting the coaches who see the guys a little more then we do and it dont sound like there is much competition for the starting position what so ever

I didn't see anything wrong with Moore's arm strength tonight. The best this team played in the last ten years was with Chad Pennington at the helm, and Moore right there made a throw that Pennington couldn't have done with his arm strength. That may not be saying much, but I've seen considerable zip on his throws and he hasn't shown an inability to throw the ball far downfield either.

He did not look better than henne - thank sir fasano for the 1st INT

And thank Marlon Moore for allowing the defense to pick a pass that any NFL capable wide receiver gets his hands on, even if he doesn't come down with it.

That leaves Henne with the only interception that can't be blamed on a receiver, and his pick would have been a pick against 4th stringers.

Fact of the matter he looked good. Thats a good thing for this team. But I would say dont drink the Anti Henne Kool-aid either

That ball was thrown right into the CB, it wasn't that good of a throw.. A superstar WR like Marshall would have brought that down, but a 2nd or 3rd stringer like Moore? Know who you are throwing the ball too..

This is one of the most deflating and irresponsible days of all the days I have sat on FH - I am beside myself - this is PREseason - Fasano faces no scrutiny??? Top 3 O players on sidelines - I think we did OK.....

Matt Moore has been here all of a week, he might not even know Marlon's name at this point. He gave his receiver a chance to make a play and that receiver wasn't capable of it. Come week one, I'm having a hard time imagining any wide receiver still on this roster won't at least get a hand on that.

Henne should know who he is throwing to- the defense.

I'm certain that if Jake Long were blocking and Marshall were running a route, their presence alone would have prevented Henne from throwing a pick right to the defense. It's not like he has ever done that with them in the game...oh wait.

Henne's TD was against Atlanta Back-ups.
