Don’t expect re-enforcements to be coming on the offensive line

Okay, so what if he Brings in Ohara and Gurode and things on the line don't improve? Then it will be because "Tony can't stop tinkering with his O-Line and let them Gel"...

You know it's true.

This is great news. Hes going to stick with this ****ty O-line, get henne killed and were gonna have a new GM, Head coach adn QB next year. WOOT!!!!!

Things like this make me hate Tony...i understand u need reps and thats fine, but when ur starting RT has shown hes no good on other teams and on this team its time to make an adjustment. this is plain stubborn to me.

Sparano must have seen an ostrich with its head in the sand and said, "Hmmm....That is a great way to cope with problems!"

If that were true, we'd still have Bonemego as Special Teams coach and we'd still be running an ultra-conservative offense.

And who knows, if our O-Line gets beat like a drum by Dallas, Sparano might change his mind. Considering the guy knows he is coaching for his job, I have to believe he is motivated to do what he thinks gives him the best chance to win.

Where was this patience the last 3 years? He didnt have a problem switching out players then, when he thought it would happen overnight.

Now he easily has the worst line of his regime...and he's cool with it, dont wanna rush anything.

Unbelievable.

i would at least give him credit for acknowedging he's got a serious problem and trying to do something about it...most the time theres a reason guys are on the street and its not all contract related...its performance related as well sometimes...but to sit here and think he's gonna make chicken salad out of whats in house on tape chicken **** reeks of incompetence and arrogance...

no joke...if sparano by adding jake long at left tackle and going with this exact same rest of the starting line in the exact positions they are in now can make this work out he deserves a freaking metal...

Extreme Hyperbole alert!

There is no way this line is worse than what we were seeing at the end of last year

... In the REAL games Jake Long will be playing LT, and while Colombo might be starting at RT, I'll bet Tony will have no problem swapping he and Murtha out depending on who's hot that game.

If this continues, this headline will read "Don't expect Sparano to be coming back in 2012"

It is indeed worse then last season. Our last preseason game, Bush had what...-.2 yards? Henne was sacked 3 times despite being faster and more decisive on the field. Even if those results look similar to last season, the fact that both players are quicker and less hesistant then the positions were at the end of last year is telling.

Vernon Carey was still at right tackle and his knee was just slightly shot, not completely. John Jerry had not eaten and lazied his way off the team yet, though he was still recovering from ebola/madcow.

And now we are relying on pitcher rules? Who's hot is who starts? So much for his flawless plan of consistency and patience.
Yes, this line is easily the worse its been under Sparano. Right tackle is a gaping wound and right guard isn't much better. I dont think anyone has questioned the left side, as we know Long will return. Its the fact that he cant play every position along the line at the same time that has us worried.

Don't expect re-enforcements on the OL huh, well Tony, you just might find urself gone based on YOUR O-Line alone.

It's preseason, it's a new offense, the best player wasn't even playing...

And when did Sparano or anyone else affiliated with the Dolphins ever claim to have a "flawless plan"? That's ridiculous.

It would be ironic if Henne continues to rise to the occasion and instead what brings Tony down ultimately is his bullheaded commitment to this OL (can anyone say "Henning's planning is great, it's the execution that sucks").
