DONT GIVE RONNIR 22M in garuanteed money

ricky is our best back on the team

Technically Ronnie isn't on our team. Ricky is the best proven back on our team. You'll see how much more Ronnie brings to the team than Ricky once he signs a deal and gets into camp.

I don't get it either. Why are a lot of fans saying "F Ronnie"?

because people are impatient. A lot of people are starting to get it in there heads that Ronnie doesn't care about the dolphins, and thats not true. He just wants the right contract. Every person on here posting would do the same thing in his shoes. its a lot to say "sign the deal, get into camp" but its a whole nother issue when you say "take 19 million, and not 22 million". thats like most people taking a minimum wage hourly salary over an 8 dollar an hour salary.

I expect Ronnie to be signed either later today or early tomorrow at the latest. Once Ronnie signs then Benson will sign and the top 5 will start to close themselves out.

I can't believe you guys are turning on Ronnie already, and for who....Ricky?

Thats funny as hell, first its "screw Ricky, he sold us out" , then its "Sweet we have Ronnie Brown, best GD running back in the draft" now its "Screw Ronnie for holding out, we have....RICKY!!"

What a bunch of carpetbaggers, what do you expect to pay the number 2 overall pick?

:stupid:

but still........

:billsbite

:D

Well we won't see much unless he gets his *** into camp and learns the system.

Comparing someone making 19 million dollars to someone making minimum wage is ludicrous. A more apt comparison would be making a newly graduated MBA the highest paid employee in your company and one of the highest paid people period in your industry.

Just making an attempt to put something in perspective. All in all, my point still stands. NONE of us would willingly give up money.

Particularly since your percentages don't even work out. Taking a 5 dollar job vs. an 8 dollar job would be turning down a 60% pay increase. a 19 million job vs. a 22 million job is only a 15% difference.

so once again..........players play for the money?? or players play for that little thing called love for the game?

You can't play pro football without a love for the game.

Of course they love the game, but this is a game that will no doubt take off atleast 10 years of your life. I'd want to get payed well for it too.

And would you take 19 million dollars guaranteed for it?
