dont really win if we win.it would just give FAT TONY another week as HC.i would like to say we should beat the browns but anything can happen with this idiot as HC.really do we want FAT TONY any longer than we have to.so do we really win if we win?

Not sure about what kind of anwser you're looking for but yes, if we win... we really win...

EDIT: The real question seems to be: Do you hate TS more than you love the Fins...?

If we win we will build momentumfor our game against San Diego then start a streak of very "winnable" games which can turn our season around. So yes, beating the Browns would be a win.

Miami has lost the past 3 meetings against the Browns. I know it doesnt matter.. Just sayin

Unless one takes the stance that losing will only help the fins for next year, which many would argue-myself included.

You'd rather go 0-16 then?

I understand that, but taking that stance after 2 games is rather premature IMO... But I understand your position...

I don't understand these people.

I would *love* to get a bona fide, undisputed franchise QB. I would love to bring Jeff Fisher aboard (fwiw, he's the only coach I like of the myriad mentioned to replace Sparano, but to each his own). I would love to see the Dolphins turn into consistent contenders.

But I will *never* root for my team to lose, and I won't be happy about it either. Again, to each his own, but what glee do you get to see them lose? I mean really? To fit your preconceived notions about the team and the coaching staff? To hope upon hope they go out and do what *you* want them to do?

Let me ask you guys something, what if it doesn't go the way you want? What if they do lose plenty, but every decision goes against your wishes? What then? Root for more lousiness?

I think people are kidding themselves big time if they think Sparano will get fired if we lose to Cleveland. I've been staying out of these discussions but think they are silly. I think TS is a bad coach but he will not be fired after week 3, regardless of the outcome. I'd bet everything I have on this.

i cannot believe some of these posts... 0-2 and people are already looking forward to April's draft. And as for the 2 games, i don't care what anyone says, we had a chance to win, whether its to take the lead in the 3rd, or 4th, we were in it to win it, for both games. Mind you against a 14-2 Patriots team and a playoff contending Texans team... as for the doom and gloom people, 0-2 is not the end of the world. i have yet to look it up, but I'm sure history will tell us that teams starting 0-2 have turned around and had successful seasons. My advice is to live in the present and enjoy the season. anything can happen on any given sunday. enjoy the ups and downs, because thats life... otherwise you'll end up like that poor SOB from the Adam Sandler movie, Click...

I agree...but probably for different reasons. I think Sparano and Co. stuck with Henne to have their "built in execuse." I don't think Ross will fire these morons, regardless of record. They will just tell him, "at the end of the day, we just couldn't win with Henne. We need to get a new 2nd rounder..." And Ross will buy it and let them continue on their merry way of destroying our team...

Yeah... Ive seen enough from him that im completely done. In his 4 years here, Tony has not learned once from any of his mistakes. He just makes the same ones over and over and over again. In my mind, there is nothing that he can do or come up with that will benefit this team. The absolute only reason why he was successful when he got here was because of the wildcrap. He caught everyone off gaurd with it and thats the only reason we were able to win so many games. And now that he isnt fooling anyone and cant hide behind the wildcrap any longer, he is exposed for being a horrible coach. It is what he is. The only claim to fame he will ever have is an offensive formation that worked for 12 games.

I was looking forward to the draft before this season started! What are we "doom and gloom people" supposed to do when **** is placed in front us and are told it is steak. Well eat away buddy, some use see it for the **** it is...

I think the big factor for that season was the TO ratio which was out of this world, yes the WC had a big part of it but a TO ratio like we had will get you inthe playoffs wildcat or not IMO...

We also had some talent that many have not appreciated...Will Allen and Goodman look pretty good compared to what we have now...a bunch of potential, but nothing of real production...Pennington was a great game manager that actually lasted a full season...Starks was a great pickup, Holiday played great that year. Bell was playing better. We had an OL that we though was crap...but was 10x as good as the scrubs we have now...Ricky and Ronnie were doing well...the TE's were showing up consistently...of course we still had Ginn...but that didn't hold us back too much...
