If in season 4, your looking for a win against the Browns to keep this clown, there is a huge problem.

As much as I agree with this statement and how funny/sad it is, I'm thinking one thing can keep Sparano still in his seat, and that's how well the offense can play. Henne and the O, despite their red-zone struggles, have exceeded the expectations with how well they can now travel down the field. Daboll has shown (despite some bonehead Henning-esque calls in a couple occasions) that he wants some aerial ferocity out of the offense, and that's a winning formula for offense we've been hiding under a rock from for the past X amount of years.

There's no hiding behind the defense's performance so far, even Sparano mentioned in the post-Patriots Debacle-game interview "800 yards allowed, Not much else you can say about that." The defense can only get better from here, especially since Nolan Caroll will probably play his last game as a Fin when he eventually loses one for us come Sunday. Honestly right now, Id rather see our defense struggle than our offense, and only because I'm so bored of watching crappy 3 and out drives.

If Ross sees that the Fins can start to score more and more as the offense improves, no matter how the defense continues to struggle, he might leave Tony alone for now since games will be more exciting to watch on a side of the ball that hasn't been exciting for Dolphins fans for years.

A win will help the teams confidence which has to be real low right now. Maybe they are sticking together by evidence of the fact they still support coach Sparano. People talk like the Browns are a lower level team, but most experts seem to think they are a team on the rise. They said the same thing about the Detroit Lions the last few years and now look at them, they sre one of the elite teams. The Dolphins and Browns are very simular and I have to tell you that both are very young and very much on the rise. The season is still young and don't write the Phins off just yet, still plenty of games left to play out.

I am not showing blind loyalty to the Dolphins...
Just look at the facts.
The offense is ranked 10th right now which is a great improvement over last year. We need to do a better job on 3rd down and plays in the redzone, we need to score touchdowns.
The defense has been terrible so far, but the fact remains that we played two teams ranked in the top five and should turn it around and show that they are as good as advertised. The defense needs to shut up and play ball, Crowder and Porter are gone, no need to trash mouth...just start making some plays already.

We need a win period! We lost to 2 real good teams, stop forgetting that. If we lost to the Raiders and Cincy, I would be on board with all this disbelief. We win this week and we have the Chargers and Jets who we play fairly well. We swept the Jets last year. After 5 games we can be 3-2 . 4 of the first 5 games are very tough , so even 2-3 is realistic. Relax!! It will get better as the season goes on, we will gel. Cmon man, relax!!!
