I was at the first two days of camp so far this year and Ricky although smaller than earlier looks great!!! Now, when Ronnie comes I'm sure he will hopefully do just as good. Alot of talk in town has been as soon as Ricky aquires some notice from other teams he'll become trade bait. My personal opinion is I wish they wouldn't and keep both backs.....what a weapon!!!!

I agree!

Ricky will be traded next year, but not this year. He'll only be back for one game before the trade deadline, and no team is going to trade for Ricky without seeing what he can do after coming back. On top of all that, Shaun Alexander nor Travis Henry could get trade offers higher than a third rounder, and they are proven players who didn't leave their teams a week before training camp. There's very little value in trading Ricky right now, but if he shows something next year, we may get some good offers.

I agree with you, but we need to see what Ronnie can do, before taking for granted that we will trade Ricky.

Keep them both....imagine the concern of opposing coaches when they see Ricky and Ronnie lined up in the backfield!!! :) Fake it to Ronnie, then fake it to Ricky.. and then Gus or AJ zips it to Chambers for a 50 yard gain. D-Backs and linebackers won't know how to stop that!

Ricky won't get all that much. He screwed himself!

Yes he will, we may not be willing to pay him what he wants but even what his current contract pays him imo is too much. He can always just retire again if we dont pay him exactly what he wants

Love of the game my ***, the only reason he returned is because he couldnt pay off the lawsuit.

Good point, would be great....nice sig

I'm still liking the idea of giving Lamar Gordon a chance while Ricky is on the sidelines. We haven't seen enough of him yet to know what he's capable of, and we did give a 3rd rounder for him

He'll have a chance when he spells Ronnie the first 4 games of the season. Not to bash Lamar, but he has yet to prove he's worth the 3rd we gave up for him.

He is only making league minimum right now.

My opinion is that if Miami could afford it, it would be amazing to keep him. However chances are that is going to be impossible.

This is the last ****ing time Im going to talk about this subject(Hey isnt that what Saban said when asked about Ricky's past?)

We will not trade Williams this season, after all he only has one game to play in, before the trade deadline and thats not enough time to fully evaluate him. We will probably trade him next offseason, but I wouldnt be surperised if he isnt traded then either.

I agree, he got injured too quickly, so we weren't able to see if he was worth it. That's why I think we should give him a chance while Ricky is sitting.
