Don't trade Ricky!!

I'm still liking the idea of giving Lamar Gordon a chance while Ricky is on the sidelines. We haven't seen enough of him yet to know what he's capable of, and we did give a 3rd rounder for him
I like Gordon also, I was told that he looks a little rusty, cause all the injuries, but I do like him. I'am sure that Saban will take a close look at him......wow, is that you Tate? undercover?....lol I'am lost

Hey Dolphin Dude you stole Tate's avatar.

Did it ever occur to anyone that for a RB Ricky is at his last two ears of production

Ricky will be traded next year, but not this year. He'll only be back for one game before the trade deadline, and no team is going to trade for Ricky without seeing what he can do after coming back. On top of all that, Shaun Alexander nor Travis Henry could get trade offers higher than a third rounder, and they are proven players who didn't leave their teams a week before training camp. There's very little value in trading Ricky right now, but if he shows something next year, we may get some good offers.
I really dont think Ricky will be traded at all. Its just a gut feeling I have, I mean you will crush the defense when they try to stop the two different styles of running, and Ricky will be able to help mold Ronnie into a great runningback for the future.

Are you implying at age 30 a RB is obsolete? ( See Curtis Martin )

also, don't forget Ricky took a whole season off.

Martin is the exception to the rule. Ricky did take a year off, but he did get a huge amount of carries under Dave, and has taken alot of punishment when he has played. I don't think Ricky will play more than 2 more seasons.

Think about the salary both will be getting. then dump off Ricky.

imo ricky is well worth more than a 3rd round pick and there will be nobody in the draft in the 3rd round that will even come close to what ricky can do at any possion so we gave 2 1st rounds picks 4 ricky and now we want to trade him 4 a 3rd round pick ??? noway would i do that and he said he only wanted to play 2 years and he would be worth more to us for the 2 years he wants to play than a 3rd round pick:shakeno:

Adam Scheftner on NFL Network talked about how strong next year's free agent running back class could be, potentially. I don't think Ricky Williams would be worth a 5th rd pick to anyteam. He has no value except to the Phins.

Love of the game my ***, the only reason he returned is because he couldnt pay off the lawsuit.

I dont know what fairy tale your living... but I go to work to make money too.

If I could grab 15 Million dollars over the next four years by playing in the NFL...Count me in.

Regardless if I actually wanted to.

thats true and i think we will keep him and use him with brown and ricky will retire a fin
