Down 21-15.....

Actually the play called on 3-1 worked, there were two guys in the left flat covered by one defender and RT never looked their way and took the sack.....if he feels the pressure looks for the easy completion they get the first down.....I don't fault the play calling one bit on that series

Looked to me like he saw them but he wanted to go for the big play all at once, which is ironic considering even if a guy was open deep (which there wasn't) he wouldn't have hit them anyway.

You are correct. And this is the biggest problem with Tannehill that nobody is mentioning. He is not seeing the open receivers. You really need to see the all 22 to see it, but he is just not seeing the guys that are open - and our receivers are getting open.

You can see it on the tv the flats and check down are always there for chunk yards he never sees them

Play action under center on 3rd and 1......They would looking for big play. If the line is getting manhandled, why play action under center? Why no Qb rollout/runs? Not making any excuses. Play calling handicaps an already average offense. Few weeks ago, people were worried about Lazor getting a head coaching job after this season. Watching Pittsburg right now. Haley is terrible and is holding back that offense. No touchdowns in over 8 quarters. Blame Ben?

On 2nd and 1, Tannehill could have jogged for a first down. He rolled right and that side of the field was wide open. Instead he threw it out of bounds. With your offense struggling, you have to take the free first down there and run for the first down. He easily could have made it and slid or gone out of bounds after getting the first.
