draft a QB!

I am so SICK of reading about the suspected " qb of the future" threads. We all need to chill out, be patient, and believe that whatever plan Nick Saban has is going to pan out. There is no way of knowing what the organization is going to do. So lets leave it alone and see what happens in the future.

The good news is, not many teams will be looking for a QB in the next 3 years.

There's usually a QB cycle, but it looks like soon it will be smooth sailing.

The only teams that look to be in need of a young QB in the next 3 years are: Seattle (maybe, probably not), KC (Green), Arizona (probably), Dallas (certainly), Detroit (probably), Tennessee (will get him this year), Tampa Bay (Simms?), Oakland (obv), NYJ (obv), Miami (obv), Baltimore, and New Orleans (will get him this year).

The outside possibilities are Washington (not likely--already have replacement), Minnesota (depends on Culpepper).

So, that leaves: KC, ARI, DAL, DET, TB, OAK, NYJ, MIA, BAL.

Rivers might be going somewhere, so cross a name off the list (maybe). Someone's also going to get Cutler, most likely in the first. Then you count that Baltimore may stick with Boller, Arizona may stick with McCown, TB may stick with Simms. That's 4-7 teams, and three years. Odds are some of those teams will pick below us. That gives us a really good shot.

There's lots of young talent at QB right now (Manning, Palmer, Roethlisberger, Brady, Leftwich, Brees, Manning2, Vick, Hasselbeck, Losman, [perhaps... we'll see]).
