Things are heating up today before the draft and lots of rumors flying around. Some may help us with who might be available and others may not. I'm hoping we can keep this thread in the main forum through the draft to talk about what rumors might be out there about trades and what not.

This rumor could help us get a WR.

The Cleveland Browns have discussed trading with theTennessee Titans to move up to the second spot in the NFL draft so the Browns can take quarterback Marcus Mariota

If the browns trade up for Mariota, that would mean they will not take a WR in front of us. There was lots of talk about them needing a receiver due to the Josh Gordon issues.

I guess now the question is how Tennessee will draft and if that does or does not effect what our plans are...
 
Wonder if Philip Dorsett wants to come to Miami. His skillset seems to match well with Tannehills strengths. Quick route runner, sharp cuts, good separation but not a big strong receiver.
 
Browns needed a receiver last year and traded out of their spot where Buffalo took Sammy Watkins...yeah, be glad Ray Farmer is not out GM.
 
Rumor is Browns offering up both 1st round picks to move up to #2 with the Titans in order to draft QB Marcus Mariota.

He has said several times he wants to play for Miami. Hes been a Miami kid all his life.
 
Get the feeling there might be a lot of movement at the top of the draft.
Or there could be none whatsoever.
Not a particularly strong draft, by any means.

Heard that Falcons told Missouri DE S. Ray that they will draft him 7th overall, The Packers are targeting LB D. Perryman with the (2 of 3)

Farmer actually got great value in the trade. Just because he's clueless and then ignored the wideout position through the entire draft is a different story but to get the 9th pick in the draft, a 4th rounder and next years 1st to move down 5 spots is excellent value
 
The reports say Cleveland offer their two first rounders to move up to the second spot. If Mariota is there, they are probably going to need more than just those picks to get it done. If they want it, they'll have to throw in next year's first round as well. He's seen as a potential franchise QB and for Tenn to pass that up will take a lot. Don't forget that Philly will be on the phone with Tenn too.
