Drew's Views

-The Bears were actually interested in Griese (no Agent bluffing)
-He will start sometime this season if he will be on the team next year
-He is coming to compete for a starting job in his own opinion.
-Jackson is a tough player
-He won't have anything to do with Griese coming back
-Carolina may be interested in OG
-Chambers was the focus in training camp
-10 pounds heavier
-Besides Ricky, they are trying to get him the ball
-Bigger/Stronger
-Watch for Pro Bowl year
-Madison looked like his OLD self (8 and 7 INT years)
-T Buck is now 3rd CB
-Lowe is 4th CB
-Fletcher is 5th CB and fighting for a job
-Some lady says Drew looks better without gel in his hair

Drews Views 6/8
-The Bears were gonna pay Griese alot of money, a $1m+ bonus.
-Phins stepped up and got their man
-Deal will be official tomorrow
-Good deal for both sides, could be starter
-Drew still convinced Griese will be able to compete
-Chris Jackson is a tough player with size and Miami likes him
-Many teams still like Oronde and Miami should pickup their approach with OG
-Chambers is 10 pounds heavier around 220 and he is faster
-Chambers will be the main man other than Ricky
-They feel CC will have a Pro Bowl season
-Sam looks like the old Sam
-TBuck is the nickel, Lowe is the 4th corner
-Fletcher is in a position where he's not on the field, he is way down on the depth chart
-If a starter got hurt, Fletcher would start he just doesn't fit in as a nickel/dime

Fletcher will not make the team. If Fins need a #5 CB, there will be some available come last cut prior to the reg. season

Man gotta love the tabloids. Everyone is just making assumptions about Buckley/Fletcher when the battle hasn't taken place yet. It won't be decided until training camp and please with the Lowe talk. Lowe's profile is about as good as Leonard Henry. Chances are just as good that Bell takes his spot on the chart.

Yeah I don't beleive about the Fletcher benig 5th CB talk either.

T-Buck is gonna whoop his ass. T-Buck will be the nickelback. I think Drew actually has it right here. I see Fletch starting, but never the nickel.

Couldn't agree more and have stated in a few threads that training camp is two months away. Six weeks now. But this is Drew Rosenhaus talking now. :) After what Prime Time reported I thought he said Fletcher was fighting for a job and might get cut.

Chris Chambers gained 10 pounds?? And then got faster?

That's weird. He must be rock solid then, cause he's only 5'11''.

But he's lanky as heck. His arms/legs are that of a 6'3" guy. He's in great shape.

Awesome.

And nothing would make me happier than good ole Sam Madison return to his "dance-on-the-field, stomp on Flutie Flake boxes" days when he was the best corner in the league.

Lanky. Means you're long in the limbs. Long arms, legs.... Just look at Chambers and you'll understand. :)

Tall, thin, and ungainly. See synonyms at lean2

The only problem is ungainly is awkward. I don't think he meant that. :egads:

I really like all these new smilies. :mdfin:

Sorry the other banana didn't dance. :smackhead

So where's the dancing banana that I've seen???
