EVERY report I've seen out of Pitt is that they are HIGH on Big Ben. No mention of Rivers.

That is very true. There is still alot of free agency to go and if the Steelers do indeed get Couch, that changes alot. That does not mean that teams like the Buccs and Bills will let Rivers go further in the draft. Both of those teams like Rivers.

the short list up here is Gamble, Andrews, Hall and Rothy. But the Rumor DuJour is Plax and Amos and#11 to SD for #1.

SD gets Rivers and Plax (no Zeroue) as well as another pick
(3rd-4th rounder)
seems more likely.
Miami gets D Boston, SD gets our 3rd also.
They replace Boston with Burress. They still get their guy Rivers
(who is also much cheaper than Eli as well as less pressure).
They also add a couple of third round picks in the process.
Everyone is satisfied.
