Duke vs. LSU in Sweet 16

Right, so you know my allegiences better than I do. :rolleyes2

Again, I've ALWAYS said, the only way I'll pull against Duke is if they play LSU.
Another thing, there aren't that many SEC basketball fans in here. There are a ton of UNC fans. It made for better debate to talk UNC/Duke.

Want more proof? Look at the first post in this thread. I said "Geaux Tigers" BEFORE the game.

...Why am I arguing with a Jets fan? Your kind wrote the book on "weak."

I'm not trying to insult you and yes I saw your post BEFORE the game but it doesn't change the fact that you never talk LSU basketball. I guess i'm weird as I think people should live an die w/ one team. I can't invest the same emotions in 2 teams and I think it's not right to have 2 teams IF you are a big fan. If you are a casual fan that's one thing but I never got that impression w/ you.

I won big bucks on that game last night!!!

Who still thinks that Redick is a top 5 pick.. He is anti-clutch.. He kinda reminded me of Randolph Childress, expect Childress was as clutch as they come, and Redick just shoots and shoots, but doesn't produce in big games.. Redick a better scorer and shooter, but Childress better passer, defender..

He will not be a good pro as I have said before. He does not do well against taller athletic defenders, which he will face every night in the NBA. The kid can shoot, but so can I!

Noone ever considered Redick to be a top 5 pick. If hes lucky he will sneak into the lottery. And he will be just fine as a pro....nba players dont play defense. This guy has had teams gameplanning to stop him for the past 2 yrs. His game will be limited to that of a shooter...hes not going to drive past pro athletes, but hes still a great shooter. I havnt seen a guy with a shot like that in my lifetime, its about as good as it gets.

Redick maxes out in the NBA as Steve Kerr, could end up to be Rex Chapman.

I see alot of people w/ the Steve kerr comparison but Kerr in his 1 year w/ the 3 pt shot in college shot 57% from 3, this year was by far redick's best and he still only shot 42%. Redick will never make any impact in the NBA and will be out of the league w/in 3 years.

I think JJ. Redick and Fred Hoiberg or Dan Dickau makes ok comparisons.. Both can shoot but, each have hard time getting there shot of and playing any kind of defense.. Sometimes I like to think JJ can be Ben Gordon, but I don't see this happening either..
