DW & Rick's remains....

"Of the 35 players drafted since Wannstedt's first season in 2000, just 11 remain on the team and five are starters: Chris Chambers, Seth McKinney, Randy McMichael, Vernon Carey and Rex Hadnot. Two players, Will Poole and Wade Smith, are on injured reserve."

quick turn around I like that. Out of those 11 players i only feel comfortable with Chambers and McMike,...I dont like what Ive seen from Wade Smith and Seth McKinney so far... the rest are questionable or remain to be seen.

I feel sorry for Pitt fans...they'll be sorry.

Don't be. I've talked (well, more like argued) with some of them, and they claim him to be "the people's choice." One sports talk show host was deriding them yesterday for that and continued to do that today. Pitt fans got what they wanted, now they have to stew in their own filth. Unfortunately, I have to sit with the group that only wants to chant, "IT'S STILL WALT'S FAULT! IT'S STILL WALT'S FAULT!!" I bought my student season tickets this season, but I'm beginning to doubt whether I should do that again until Wanny's *** is driven out of his hometown.

I simply can't for the life of me figure out what Wanny said to Pitt's AD that sealed the job for him. Let's face it, the only positive of his whole coaching career was Dallas and, frankly, I could've coached that team and won a Super Bowl or two. Lightning of that type strikes so infrequently that history often labels those teams' architects as geniuses, not always deservedly.

I do feel sorry for the Pitt fans. Wanny simply isn't head coach caliber at any level.
