Eagles Fans Going Nuts over LG Pick Up

They called him Lamont Gordon?? I definitely think it was a very good pickup for the Philadelphia Eagles and I'm thinking LAMAR Gordon will do good there in Phily and definitely a lot better behind their offensive line.

It just seemed like Sammy hit the whole better more explosive. Maybe its just me i didnt like Gordon that much in the first place.
The blocking was better by the time Sammy returned from his injury & lets not forget the major thing. Gordon had zero practice time before being put in there to play because of the injuries to Morris & Minor.

Miami traded for him on Thursday & he played on Saturday. He never had the time to get up to speed before being put in there. Heck Gordon did not know the plays.

for them, it honestly was a pretty good move. i don't see your point?

My point is the guy is a non factor and they are acting like he is going to be a star.

No different then some here thinking the NT Miami signed is a stud tackle.

i bet saban was thinking this.. we all know the eagles offer for gordon was insulting. he was probably like f- them, its not worth it, im not getting hosed like those other clowns.. ill just cut his *** and maybe someone other than the eagles will claim him.. the fact that noone else did means that the league as a whole doesn't think much of lamar. remember the eagles waiver claim was way at the bottom..

who cares?

we werent gonna use him anyway, if nick feels we dont need him, then we dont. were all set with rb. everyone freaks out about the smallest shyt.

Whoa... I was on the Eagles message board, and they seemed just ok about the pickup. I don't know where you got this over the top Superbowl thing, since they were there last year anyway.

Gordon will be their 3rd back. Westbrook is 1, Moats is 2. That isn't changing. If Westbrook gets hurt, Moats becomes 1 and if they get Perry back, he'll be 2. Gordon is what he is, the 3rd back in a passing offense. Not to much to get excited about there.

I've never seen a player get so much of a reputation based on a couple great games he had almost 2-3 years ago w/the Rams.

He is slow, hesistant to get to the gap, and easy to bring down.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles drop him by the end of the season.

I agree...in St. Louis, Gordon got on Martz's bad side quickly. Flashes here and there...but they saw he wasn't their future at RB and went out and got Steven Jackson. Gordon and Minor may have different abilities, but they both offer about the same quality, especially for your 4th back.

From what little I saw of Lamar, he ran faster then his vision. With the Eagles he
ll be in a very good situation.
