Eagles interested in Morris

He may be a little too valuable even for us. I think he goes only if they are willing to overspend. He is too versatile to let go IMO

Exactly!! If we get rid of any RB, it should be Gordon or Minor but not Morris. I really like him!

Agreed, keep Morris, but I think we should unload Gordon rather than Minor. Minor is decent on special teams.

This isn't Wanny world anymore. Were more likely to keep 3 TE's plus Ed Perry then we are to keep 2 FB's. FB is very rarely used in Linehan's offense. Think about it. Look at all the OL analysis threads. How often does the FB's name even pop up? FB in this offense is like the SLB in Bates defense.....barely there.

And your all smoking the wacky. Morris at BEST is a 5th rounder. Were talking about a guy on the FA market a year ago and signed here cheap. Anyone could have had him then.

Well they use wiggins as a FB/H-Back, and he has had some very good years.

i think people are mislead by the trade last season, gordon for a 3rd rounder. that was WAY to much for gordon.

and morris is a backup at best. a 5th rounder would be a steal for you guys. but im guessing a 6th, or maybe a 7th.

then again, they just talked about it. probubly to see if the fins were interested.

And that's why there is talk of Diamond being the #2 TE. They've talked about him playing the H-Back role.

If they trade Morris it'll be for a low round pick and it's because they have settled on Harris as the 3rd down back (plays well on special teams something Gordon doesn't).

Have you been smoking with Ricky??? What has he accomplished to be worth a 2nd round. The Eagles only want a backup in case Westbrook gets hurt. They aren't willing to squander picks like Speilman and Wanny were. They aren't at the top of the heap for nothing.

We'd probably get no better than a 4th rounder. Any trade could be conditional... based on carries, yards, etc.
dude, relax, it was a joke...get it? cause we gave up a 2nd for Feeley. see, get it.

I don't give up Morris for any pick. Put Gordon on the trading block, but Morris is too valuable.

He was one of the few highlights last year....but if it benefis us to build an O-line - do they have anyone we could use as a trade?

Honestly I think Gordon has zero trade value and gets cut outright. He's not good on special teams so that means it comes down to Harris/Morris. Since Harris could be eligible for practice squads they can bluff that move with teams and keep Morris...hence trade value cause it's not 'certain' he'd be cut.

Minor and Gordon head to the trash heap. God what a waste of 2 3rd round picks.

seriously this guy is extremely valuable... he may not be great at anything he does for us but he is a huge asset...

the eagles may see him as a missing piece and they have additional first day draft picks because of trades. I agree that a lot of stock has been put in the 3rd that we used to overpay for Gordon, but baring in mind how low they are going to be picking (they should get to the super bowl, or at least the nfc champ game) a third (or fourth/ conditional 3rd) is not really out of the question.

I agree with what was posted above......unless they offer exceptional value, relative to Sammie's value to the Dolphins, I say we keep him. But do offe them Gordon and see if they bite.

The Eagles don't have Spielman in their front office. They are fairly adept when it comes to trades.
i'm well aware..

but the guy has genuine and legit value to this franchise.. there is zero point in trading him just for the sheer hell of obtaining another draft pick.
